Hi, friends! Recently, I had the pleasure of touring the new Whole Foods Market in Westford, Massachusetts. (I grew up in the town next door, so I am especially excited to have a Whole Foods Market so close when we visit family! As a way to help promote the grand opening, Whole Foods Market invited a small group of bloggers to view the store prior to opening. Pictured below: Sarah, me, Lexi, and Sarah. Upon entering the…

Hey, hey! Yesterday, I had the opportunity to participate in Cycle for Friendship at Legacy Place to benefit Best Buddies Massachusetts. It was such a wonderful event and definitely one that I would attend again. It was well-organized, a lot of fun, and I got an awesome workout while benefiting a great cause at the same time! Best Buddies International is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to establishing a global volunteer movement that creates opportunities for one-to-one friendships,…

The other night, I had the opportunity to attend an advanced screening of the “Mother’s Day” movie, which premiers in theaters nationwide TODAY, April 29th. The nice folks from Lindt Chocolate offered me a few tickets to the screening, so I invited my sister and friend, Jess, also moms, to attend with me. Lindt also provided car service to and from the movie (I especially loved this because South Shore traffic is the worst), so we decided to make…

On Sunday, May 1st, Legacy Place is hosting the inaugural Cycle for Friendship, a fun spinning event that supports Best Buddies Massachusetts! This post was sponsored by Shaws and Star Market. All opinions are my own. Hi, there! Earlier this week, I had the opportunity to spend the day with 25 other bloggers, celebrating the launch of the Albertsons Companies Signature family of brands. During the event, we tasted, experienced, and enjoyed various Signature products firsthand in a relaxing and fun (!!) setting. The Signature line includes more than 4,000 items- from coffee and juice, soup to cereal,…

Ahhh, it was so awesome!! And what an honor. Being invited to The White House was definitely one of the coolest blogging opportunities I’ve ever had! On Tuesday morning, I attended an event at The White House, along with 150 other bloggers, to learn all about the First Lady’s Let’s Move campaign. I also got to spend some time with some fellow blog buddies: Brittany, Kath, Anne, and Liz. Once we passed through security (it was similar to airport security), we found ourselves in a…

Hi, friends! Happy Monday to you! How was your weekend? We had a wonderful weekend with its highlight being a Saturday afternoon wine tasting that we hosted at our home. My sister recently started her own business with the Traveling Vineyard called Uncorked with Steph, so we invited some of our family for an event with her as our wine guide. Tasting wine was a ton of fun and my sister did an awesome job…

Heyyyyy! How was your Christmas? I hope it was wonderful in every way! Our holiday was awesome. Seriously, it was probably my favorite Christmas yet. I truly loved everything about it and enjoying the holiday through the eyes of a toddler made it that much better and more special. Ok, let’s rewind to Christmas Eve! Mal and I had a bunch of last-minute errands to run on Christmas Eve, so while we were out, we bought a glazed…

Hellooooo and happy, happy, happy Monday to you! We had quite a busy weekend over here, so let’s get right to it with a weekend recap! FRIDAY Day 11: Take a family photo! SATURDAY Mal recently joined a new CrossFit, so Quinn and I went with him to check it out on Saturday morning. The WOD was a partner workout, so Mal and I teamed up, which meant we needed to share a bar and…

Our little eagle had a great time at the Franklin Park Zoo! That costume. Cutest thing ever, right? Of course, we needed to snap some photos. I mean, it’s probably the last time we’ll pick out his Halloween costume, so we definitely needed to document it. Anyway… At the zoo, we attended a special Halloween event called “Zoo Howl” where kids could trick-or-treat among the animals, make “creepy” crafts, play “ghoulish” games, ride DUCK boats, and participate…

We celebrated my mom’s 60th birthday over the weekend with a family lunch complete with good times, lots of laughs, and some seriously delicious cake. It was a great time, but, first, let’s talk about the decorations! The adorable birthday sign above is from Sunflower Paperie. Kate, the owner, also did the decorations for Quinn’s birthday party as well as my baby shower. She makes some super cute stuff! We also bought fresh flowers and mini pumpkins…

Hi, friends! The Natural Delights Medjool Dates Blogger Summit was such a great time! Medjool dates are some of the most simple yet interesting fruits out there, and I can’t wait to tell you guys all about them! I actually have quite a lot to tell you about this trip, so I decided to highlight my absolute favorite parts. Ok, here we go! Visiting the “Big Six” The “Big Six” started it all! All of the…

Hello from Yuma, Arizona! I’m here for the Natural Delights Medjool Date Blogger Summit. That’s right. It’s an entire immersion trip related to those little bites of heaven, and I’ve already learned so much! Did you know that dates are not considered a dried fruit? They’re actually fresh fruit, which is why you sometimes see them next to the bananas in the produce section. I’m here with a bunch of other food/healthy living/vegan/Registered Dietitian bloggers for…

Hi, friends! Last night, I had the pleasure of attending a wonderful dinner hosted by Google Express, a new, same-day delivery service that is making its debut around the country with Boston being one of its first markets. Oh, Google, what will you think of next? It sounds like an amazing service and one that I would use all the time. I mean, hello, same-day delivery? One less errand to run? Sign me up! The event was held…

Guys, I loved the Seattle Rock ‘N’ Roll Half Marathon so much! What a great race. I would definitely run this one again! Ok, let me give you a little rundown… The race offered 3 different distance options this year– 8k, half marathon, and marathon– so even more runners of varying abilities could participate. Love this. The race started and finished at Seattle Center, which was especially cool for an out-of-towner like me. Good morning, Space Needle! The race started at…
