Hi, friends!
Last night, I had the pleasure of attending a wonderful dinner hosted by Google Express, a new, same-day delivery service that is making its debut around the country with Boston being one of its first markets. Oh, Google, what will you think of next? It sounds like an amazing service and one that I would use all the time. I mean, hello, same-day delivery? One less errand to run? Sign me up!
The event was held at Serafina, a modern Italian restaurant in downtown Boston that I’ve only heard good things about, so I was really looking forward to dining there.
Our group of about 20 mom bloggers enjoyed a fun cocktail hour before dinner. It was nice to kick back and enjoy a glass of wine while getting to know some new (and old!) blog friends.
I also enjoyed some tasty passed appetizers.
Both the meatballs and fried artichokes were phenomenal!
A little while later, we were all invited to sit down for dinner.
The table was gorgeous.
The flowers = perfection.
After a few words from Amber Fillerup Clark of Barefoot Blonde, who co-hosted the event (her blog is adorable), it was time to eat.
We enjoyed a delicious three-course meal that everyone raved about. I swear, each dish just got better and better.
Caprese – Imported Italian mozzarella, sliced tomatoes, and basil
Ravioli al Tartufo Nero – Homemade black truffle ravioli with butter
Creme Brulee
Group pic!
After dinner, we each received a special gift from Google Express to try out their service for free. (I’m seriously counting down the days until it comes to my area!)
I also received a special $25 promo code to share with you guys, so be sure to check out Google Express to see what it’s all about. Even if it’s not in your area yet, keep a look out for new delivery locations since they’re expanding and adding many new zip codes this year.
Promo code: EXPRESSBOSTON
Please note this code is capped at the first 2,500 shoppers to redeem it. Applies only to first purchase and not to delivery fees or in-app purchases. Valid until 8/2/15. For complete terms and conditions, visit g.co/shopexpressterms.
Question of the Day
If you could have something delivered to your house RIGHT NOW, what would it be?
