Tracy’s Favorites Survey

Mastermind Weekend 1/16

Hey there!

I'm Tina

I’m the owner of Carrots ‘N’ Cake as well as a Certified Nutrition Coach and Functional Diagnostic Nutrition Practitioner (FDN-P). I use macros and functional nutrition to help women find balance within their diets while achieving their body composition goals.

An in-depth, 4-week reverse dieting course for women who feel like their metabolism has slowed down, think they might have hormonal imbalance and can’t lose weight no matter what they do.

Helloooooo! How’s your day going?

So, it’s time for another blog survey. I mean, who doesn’t love a good blog survey, am I right? This one was originally an interview with fitness guru, Tracy Anderson, in this month’s issue of Health. My responses are below, and I would love to hear yours too!

My favorite”¦

Song that amps me up to workout: Pretty much my entire Boston Marathon playlist, but I always love hearing “300 Violin Orchestra.”

Podcast: I have A LOT of favorites, but my favorite favorites are Balanced Bites, Revolution Health Radio, and Girls Gone WOD.

Kind of date: Honestly, I love sitting at a bar with some drinks in hand and chatting with Mal. We just have a lot of fun together.

Item in my closet: KUT from the Kloth Distressed Boyfriend Jeans. Frickin’ love them!

  2. Favorite..Podcast: This American Life
Way to eat eggs: mixed with potatoes o’brien and bacon.. topped with cheese and avocados
Gifts to give and receive: experiences/events rather than “things” (weekend trips, wine tasting course, ropes course, and scuba diving are all some of my favorite gifts!)

Pizza topping- broccoli for the crunch or bbq sauce NOM OMG.

Gift to give- a sentimental gift, such as, a framed candid picture OR an experience they can have. Like concert tickets or a pedi gift card.

  8. Song that amps me up: California love
way to eat eggs: whites solid, yellow gel like mixed with a fork on toast or on ham slices

  9. Eggs: Scrambled with chopped veggies (peppers, onions, scallions, spinach) and sharp cheddar melted and mixed in

App: Starbucks! As a bonus I have a Microsoft Band that lets me have a Starbucks app on there, so I can pay at Starbucks without bringing anything out of the house with me, great for stopping to get an iced coffee after runs.

Podcast: This American Life and RadioLab

  10. Eggs – scrambled in a tablespoon of butter with a little cheese & Frank’s hot sauce on top

App – my fitness pal (I’m probably a little too obsessed with logging my food…ha)

Pizza toppings – pepperoni, sometimes sausage and easy on the sauce (I don’t like a bunch of it oozing out from under the cheese…)

Item in my closet: light blue skinny jeans (so summery), and baggy, stretchy, v-neck T-shirts
Gifts to give and receive: FOOD!

  12. Way to eat eggs – I could eat eggs any way but I like them scrambled with sliced avocado and sriracha sauce.

Toppings on pizza – sausage, peppers and onions. Although I rarely get this because my husband isn’t a fan 🙁

Kind of date – I love when we go to a sushi restaurant and split a huge scorpion bowl!

  13. Way to eat eggs: With salsa! Or a wedge of Laughing Cow, really any flavor.

Kind of date: I love when my boyfriend and I do something fun and outdoorsy like hiking or kayaking and make a whole day of it, from breakfast to dinner.

Favorite podcast: Barbell Shrugged. They always have great guests with so much amazing knowledge and experience to share, and the guys are a hoot!

  14. Kind of Date: Sitting at a bar with my guy and some live music. Just us laughing, making plans… (Our favorite is The Thirsty Owl in Saratoga Springs, NY. They are a winery from the Finger Lakes and have a restaurant and shop here in Saratoga. The owner is very friendly. Food is fantastic but we love to just sit at the bar, try their different wines, and listen to music.)

App: Snap Chat–started using it to keep in touch with my teenage niece and nephew. We have so much fun with it!

Item in My Closet: Sundresses–so done with the cold upstate NY winter. Hello summer!
