Happy New Year, friends! Welcome to 2017! Let’s cheers (via kettlebell mug) to the best year yet! 🙂
I heard a rumor (from my 2017 Reader Survey) that you guys enjoy my weekly workout recaps because they give you ideas and motivation for your own sweat sessions, so I decided to bring them back. And I figured since today is January 1st and you might have a fitness-related resolution for the new year, I would publish it a day early. There are 3 awesome (i.e. hard!) workouts included, and I hope they’re just what you need for a fit week of workouts. Happy sweating! 🙂
SUNDAY: OFF
MONDAY: CrossFit
Holy cow, this workout killed my quads… and lungs. It was a good one for sure!
TUESDAY: OFF
WEDNESDAY: KFIT
Oh, how I missed KFIT. So glad I was able to join the KFIT crew for this workout. I miss those ladies! FYI: 90-second hill heavy is on a spin bike.
THURDAY: Orangetheory
Guys, I friggin’ love Orangetheory and “dragged” Mal there last week to try it with me. He really liked it, too! My gosh, Orangetheory is such an amazing workout. It involves treadmill intervals (running or walking), rowing, free weights, TRX, BOSU, and more. Love, love, love!
FYI: My favorite workout tank (pictured above – I have it in 3 different colors) is on sale for just $21 right now! I love it because it’s one of those tops that you don’t have to think about. It’s comfy and just stays put!
FRIDAY: OFF
SATURDAY: CrossFit
My friend Marisa and I teamed up for this workout at Salt Shack and finished in about 22 minutes. It was a great Saturday sweat session!
Question of the Day

I’m trying to resist not looking at Athleta because I know I will want everything. Love their sweatshirt dresses especially for winter!
I’m looking forward to more posts like this – I love hearing about other people’s workouts. It gives me great ideas for mine.
Do you always take a set scheduled day off? Is it always Sunday/Tuesdays? Just curious.
It kind of just happens that way because of work/family life. Thursday is often a rest day too.
We just moved to Tampa and I joined Orange Theory and am really loving it! Such a great full body workout and burns so many calories. I’m always dead for the rest of the day (in a good way!)
I’m really missing your “What i’m loving lately” post. Will you be posting one soon?
About six months ago I switched from CrossFit to OrangeTheory and love it. I personally enjoy more cardio and less barbell/oly lifting so when I found OTF it was a perfect fit.
Looks like a pretty intense week! Thanks for sharing. Can’t wait to give it a shot!
Hey,
really love to read such post about workouts, I am always very much excited to learn about various types of workouts
I’ve been doing total body workouts M,W,F and light cardio Th,F,Sat and yoga or rest on Sun. So far this schedule works for me but sometimes I wonder if I should break up my strength workouts and focus on just 2 or 3 muscle groups a day.
Are you still on snapchat? I was following you but I haven’t seen any snaps for awhile.
I’ve moved over to Instagram stories! 🙂
Hey!! love the post definitely gives me ideas on things I can do in the gym!!
Hello Tina, love this post!
My 2017 resolution is to run more. Here’s my plan (and record) for this week that’s already half way through:

Tuesday: 90 decline situps for the abs
Wednesday: ran 3.5 miles
Thursday: 90 decline situps for the abs
Friday: run 3 miles
Saturday: off
Sunday: off
Nice posts . Thanks for sharing
