Stuck at home? Here are two great ways to maintain your fitness without a gym.
How to maintain fitness without a gym
1. DITCH THE ALL OR NOTHING APPROACH
Yea, the gyms are closed. It sucks. Maybe it’s even too cold to go outside or your kids are home.
So. What. It is what it is.
What are you going to do about it?
Accept and adjust. Maybe you can’t hit the weight rack or maybe you miss the treadmill or your favorite Orangetheory instructor. Find something you can do right where you are and JUST DO IT.
Grab some water jugs and turn them into weights. Deadlift a boulder in your backyard. Do jumping jacks or jump rope. Push-ups, sit-ups, and burpees don’t need any equipment or much space either. Check out this video for more ideas!
Something is better than nothing, and playing a victim in all this gets you NOWHERE.
2. INVEST IN A WORKOUT PROGRAM
Sure, all of the free workouts going around is great! I love how everyone is set to give, give, give right now.
Keep it coming!
