Last Week’s Workouts {38 Weeks}

Week 38 marked the end of my “regular” workouts. I stopped CrossFit and will likely just take long walks with Murphy and maybe do some easy basement workouts until Baby H. arrives. I’m large and in charge and my usual exercise routine is just too much, and I’m more than happy to give my body a break before labor. That said, here’s a recap of last week’s workouts!

Sunday: Off

Monday: 45-minute walk with Mal and Murphy

Tuesday: 60-minute pug+podcast walk + CrossFit

Tuesday’s workout was a fun 20-minute AMRAP called “Sahara.” I scaled the crap out of it, and it was still a killer workout! I finished 2 rounds + 50 single jumps + half of the 40 calorie row.

The workout that I did with pregnancy modifications:

  • 50 Singles
  • 40 Calorie row
  • 30 S2OH #55
  • 20 Alternating Pistols to a box
  • 10 Push-ups on the rings

  1. It’s amazing to me that you’ve been able to stay as active as you have through the whole pregnancy and I LOVE that you’ve been able to listen to your body and now know that it’s time to cut back. So wonderful! 🙂

  2. You will be so glad that you took some time off. The last two weeks are a flood of emotions and I found so much peace in just relaxing and enjoying quiet moments. I now appreciate how wonderful that was because those moments DO NOT happen anymore. Walking made me feel great and it was such a perfect time of year to just read a book in the sunshine and drink fruit infused water.

  3. I need to get more into podcast walks, that sounds like it could mix up my neighborhood strolls! I love your belly and how you are scaling back, but still choosing a healthy way to go through your pregnancy. It is so inspiring!

  4. Wow, you look phenomenal! You’re so fit and toned and you’re definitely “all baby” as they say. Also, from that photo of you and Mal, you look like you’re carrying a little lower. I bet you deliver early.
