What I’m Loving Lately 112

Hi, guys! Happy Friday!

I have the next edition of What I’m Loving Lately for you! It’s quite the mix of goodies, so let’s get right to it!

Kohv Sunglasses – I’m lovvvvving the sunglasses from Kohv lately. The brand sent Mal and me a few pairs to try, and you’ve probably seen me wearing them on the blog and social media quite a bit lately. Kohv was started by two brothers from the Lakes Region of New Hampshire who saw a problem in the eye wear industry and created an alternative. Why are sunglasses so expensive, and why can’t we find fashionable, quality shades in convenient locations? Right?! Kohv wants everyone to have the opportunity to own multiple pairs of sunglasses to mix and match with every outfit and occasion. Their frames are designer quality using the same materials and craftsmanship as top brands and polarized for 100% UV protection. Love. This. So. Much.

In the photo below, I’m wearing the LANGLEY, which are super cute and stylish! They also look much more expensive than $19.99. I also love the ASH as seen in this blog post, and I’ve wore them a ton lately. They’re casual and go with everything!

Also important to note about Kohv eyewear is that they’re unisex and many pairs work for both men and women. Mal is loving the VEERIE right now, and he is SUCH a snob about sunglasses, which definitely tells you something! *** And, right now, you can save 10% of any pair of Kohv sunglasses with code carrotsncake!

My 3 seconds of fame via Dining Playbook on NESN – You’ll see me at a spinning event put on by Hood Cottage Cheese at The Handle Bar for a hot second. It was such a fun event, and I’m so glad that I had the opportunity to attend. You can see a rerun TONIGHT (Friday, 6/22) at 5:00 p.m. on NESN.

Tea Over Ice Pitcher Set – Omgggg, this is literally the greatest thing ever! It makes THE BEST iced tea with so much flavor, and it’s so easy to use. I drink my usual iced coffee in the morning and then switch to herbal iced tea (made by this set) in the afternoon. It’s my new favorite afternoon pick-me-up. I’m obsessed!!

The Scientific Secrets of an Optimized Female Body – This is a super interesting series. The first episode was all about how food can affect hormones!

The Vegetables I Can’t Live Without – I know I mentioned this cookbook the other day, but it’s one of my favorites to date! It really does have awesome (and simple) veggie recipes inside!

Why Aluminum Isn’t the Only Ingredient to Avoid in Your Deodorant – Lots of good info!

Trader Joe’s Jalapeno Lime Almond Dip – Mmm! I can’t get enough of this dip lately! It has some serious flavor and heat! I also love that the ingredients are super simple – just almonds, water, lime juice, jalapenos, EVOO, salt, and potassium chloride.

Mitochondrial DNA in IBD Patients A Potential Therapeutic Target, Study Suggests – Super interesting!

Question of the Day

How many pairs of sunglasses do you own?

Any delicious finds from Trader Joe’s lately?

What’s up for the weekend?

  1. Your blog is so much fun!
Ok. I have 5 pairs of sunglasses and am about to buy a new pair for my bday (today!) I really want a pair of Goodr sunglasses!!

TJs isn’t super convenient to us, but when I go I get all the seasonal stuff!

As for the weekend, I’m hoping we go on a fun hike or something with a cold spring!

  2. I have one pair of sunglasses – I’m super picky with them and once I find a pair I stick to them.

I haven’t been to trader joes in a few months now – I need to get back there! How do you eat your dip? With veggies, crackers, etc? Is it like hummus?

My sister and I are heading to the Vineyard this weekend for a Mom’s night away. Its my first night away from the kids since I became a Mom of two 10 months ago so I’m super stoked! The weather will be less than stellar but we are going to make the best of it!

  3. Thanks so much for the sunglasses recommendation! I ordered the ones you were wearing in your birthday post yesterday plus 2 more pairs for my husband! The LANGLEY style is so cute, too – that may be my next purchase!

  4. Thank you for the sunglasses recommendation.
I need to get some back up ones for my camping trip. Somehow I have lost two in the past week.
    Whomp whomp.
