Sick of eggs for breakfast? If you follow a Paleo diet, you might want some eggless Paleo breakfast ideas. I mean, sometimes eggs seem like the only thing for breakfast, right?
My CrossFit box recently started a new Paleo challenge and one of my CrossFit friends said she is already sick of eggs for breakfast, so her comment inspired this post. If you’re tired of the same old egg breakfast or maybe you have an allergy or sensitivity to eggs, here are a bunch of eggless breakfast ideas for you!
Eggless Paleo Breakfast Ideas
Paleo Granola
This Paleo Granola has recently made a serious comeback in my regular breakfast rotation. I mix it in applesauce, mashed sweet potato, and sprinkle it on fresh fruit all the time. It’s so easy to make and there are a million different ingredient variations, so you can customize it to your tastes preferences. I typically make a big batch at the beginning of the week, so I have an easy breakfast on deck every morning.
What do you eat when you’re Paleo, but don’t eat eggs?
Fruit, Squash, and Nut Butter Breakfast Bowl
This is the easiest breakfast ever. Just add canned pumpkin, mashed sweet potatoes, or your favorite kind of squash to a bowl and then top it with sliced banana (or any other fruit you like) and a scoop of nut butter. It’s a healthy breakfast in no time at all!
Chicken Sausage with Butternut Squash and Apples
Now that fall is just about here, I see myself eating this breakfast a lot more often!
Butternut Squash with Apple and Bacon
Similar to the recipe above but with bacon!
This recipe is actually a dinner recipe, but it’s awesome reheated for breakfast!
Banana Apple Crisp with Vanilla Coconut Cream
Yum! This dish is almost like eating dessert for breakfast!
Pumpkin, Almond Butter, and Paleo Granola
I had some leftover canned pumpkin, so I mixed it with a huge spoonful of almond butter, pumpkin pie spice, and some honey. Then, I nuked it all in the microwave for 60 seconds and topped it with Paleo granola. It was SO GOOD!
Cinnamon-Coconut Bananas with Fresh Blueberries
Gooey bananas cooked in coconut oil and topped with fresh fruit””holy yum! It’s delicious, nutritious, and comforting. I’ll usually add a spoonful of nut butter too.
Turkey Burger and Veggies
This might not be the most exciting breakfast, but a grilled turkey burger with some cooked veggies (and, ok, maybe some Ants on a Log) is a tasty meal. Actually, any meat + veggie dish (dinner leftovers?) makes a healthy and satisfying breakfast.
Coconut Almond Butter Smoothie
Oh, how I love this smoothie! It’s delicious, nutritious, and so, so satisfying””it’ll easily keep you full until lunchtime!
I originally whipped up this recipe as a single-serving dessert, but you could easily double (or triple) the recipe and eat it for breakfast.
Almond Yogurt with Sliced Banana and Almonds
Is almond yogurt Paleo? Maybe? Probably not? I dunno, but here’s a non-egg, maybe Paleo breakfast idea!
