Carrots ‘N’ Cake Turns 9 + Win a Designed to Fit Meal Plan

Mastermind Weekend 1/16

Hey there!

I'm Tina

I’m the owner of Carrots ‘N’ Cake as well as a Certified Nutrition Coach and Functional Diagnostic Nutrition Practitioner (FDN-P). I use macros and functional nutrition to help women find balance within their diets while achieving their body composition goals.

An in-depth, 4-week reverse dieting course for women who feel like their metabolism has slowed down, think they might have hormonal imbalance and can’t lose weight no matter what they do.

Good morning!

There’s a lot to celebrate today! It’s National Carrot Cake Day as well as the day that I started Carrot ‘N’ Cake NINE (!!!) years ago. I love this crazy coincidence and feel like it was just meant to be!

First off, I just want to say THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU for reading CNC. This blog wouldn’t be what it is today without you, and I can’t even begin to explain how much each of your comments, questions, messages, likes, and emails mean to me. <3

If you’ve followed CNC for awhile now, you know just HOW MUCH my life has changed since the start of this blog. (Related: Here’s a little recap from February 2008 – present.) And now I’m moving on to another phase of my life: Designed to Fit Nutrition. It’s something that Kerrie and I talked about for years and now it’s a reality. We’ve already put so much time, energy, and money into this business, and we’re just getting started. I’m SO EXCITED to see what the future holds for us! 🙂

Local readers: We’ll be at Whole Foods Market Hingham on Wednesday, February 22nd if you want to learn more about DTFN. Register here!

  1. I am a mom/step-mom to 5 kids/young adults. I eat dairy free, gluten free and would love ideas on incorporating vegetables and healthy ideas for them to develop a healthier lifestyle.

  2. I know how to eat well, but I often struggle with under-eating throughout the week and then going a bit nuts on the weekends. I just can’t seem to find a healthy balance, and constantly questioning my food choices is exhausting! I’d love to start fresh with someone coaching me through the process. I want to rediscover a healthy relationship with food so that I can focus on other, more important things in life. <3 Thank you for all that you do and congrats on your new start-up!!

  3. 2 words baby weight! I’ve been doing great at the gym but need help with my diet. A customized meal plan would be a great motivator!

  4. I would love to learn a more balanced way of eating – there are so many meal plans/programs out there and I have yet to try one. I eat well most of the time, but indulge too much on weekends… I would love to find a balance!

  5. 90% of your body transformation happens in the kitchen. Well I have figured out the 10% but cant figure out the food. This might help.

  6. I would love to win a DTF meal program! I am recovering from adrenal fatigue and would love to learn if adjusting my food – increasing or adjusting my macros would increase my energy and help support me in my workouts. Thank you!

  7. I would LOVE to win a meal plan from DTFN! I pay close attention to my meals but am a hard-core snacker! I’d love to see what’s lacking in my diet.

  8. Though I’ve been meal planning for years, for some reason lately it’s become a big source of stress for me (I’m not really sure why!!). I’d love to have it all just laid out for me and I just need to go to the store 🙂

  9. I just turned 40 and would love to weigh UNDER 140 again. I have been 8 or 9 pounds away from my goal for years! Oh yeah…and my husband is from Brazil and I have to go there to meet his family. I would love to be able to look GREAT in a Brazilian-style swimsuit, strutting my new DTF Nutrition body on the beach! (Seriously, though, I’m a food addict and can use all the help I can get!).

  10. Not sure if this is still open, but if it is… I could certainly use someone telling me what to eat, as I do not eat enough, and restrict far more than is necessary. Following a plan might be just the kick in the pants I need…

  11. I eat pretty healthily most of the time, but my schedule has gotten a little more hectic recently and I could use a menu plan already prepared for me to save me the time and creative energy required to make my own!

  12. Oh how this would help me out! I am a mom of two and feel like I don’t have enough time for something like this in my own. I am always so interested when you blog about this. Please pick me!!!
