Good morning, folks! 😎
My dining companion at breakfast this morning was my good ol’ laptop. I woke up bright and early, so I figured that I might as well get crackin’ on my Health post for this week. Mal and Murphy were sound asleep, so I climbed out of bed, cooked breakfast, and got down to work while the house was still quiet.
I’ve been struggling with writing lately, so I only got through about 75% of my Health post. It’s funny– some weeks, I plow right through it and other weeks, I can’t seem to get it together. Maybe I have a case of Writer’s Block? 😕
Breakfast
What to make for breakfast this morning was an easy decision. I had a serious craving for oatmeal.
In the mix:
- 1/4 cup old-fashioned oats
- 1/4 cup bulgur
- 1 cup water
- 1 banana
- 2 scoops of peanut butter
- Splash of vanilla soy milk
- Chia seeds
As always, I enjoyed a glass of iced coffee with vanilla soy milk. It hits the spot every time.
Murphy is awake, but Mal is still sleeping. I might need to wake up his lazy butt.
I have nothing planned for today!!!!!
