The scene of the wedding party’s night out was John Brewer’s Tavern in Malden.
John Brewer’s is your typical sports bar-restaurant with yummy pub grub, decent beers on tap, and TVs everywhere. There were even TVs in the booths!
The place was pretty busy around 7:00 pm when we arrived– and it only got busier! It seemed like most people came to meet friends and drink by the bar, but a number of couples and families sat down and ordered dinner too.
Our meal started with fresh corn bread. Of course, I helped myself to a piece. š
Then I hydrated myself with 2 glasses of water. I was parched after my day at the spa!
The lovely Bride and Groom!
The Bride & MOH!
For dinner, the Bride, Groom, and I shared a plate of nachos with chili on the side. The nachos were pretty good, but the chili was awesome! I actually wish I had just ordered a bowl of chili instead!
With dinner, I drank a glass of Shiraz, but I guess I never snapped a photo of it. I’m not sure how that happens? Oops! š³
After dinner, I craved something sweet (like I always do), so I treated myself to a Pumpkin Pie Martini.
Yum!!! I absolutely loved the graham cracker crust around the rim!
By the end of the night, our group practically took over the bar area. The Bride and Groom must have had at least 20 people come out for their get-together.
The bridesmaids (minus one)! š
All in all, it was a wonderful evening! The Bride and Groom really seemed to enjoy themselves!
I have a busy day ahead of me, starting with baking a batch of Pumpkin Oatmeal Muffins for my sister’s brunch-nail event. My sister rented out a nail salon for the bridal party, mothers, and grandmothers to get manicures and pedicures done together. We planned to have a brunch spread, so people could munch while they waited. Mimosas, fruit, and muffins are on the menu!
Time to get crackin’!
Happy Friday! š
