Tuesday Afternoon, Bloody Marys?

Mastermind Weekend 1/16

Hey there!

I'm Tina

Iโ€™m the owner of Carrots โ€˜Nโ€™ Cake as well as a Certified Nutrition Coach and Functional Diagnostic Nutrition Practitioner (FDN-P). I use macros and functional nutrition to help women find balance within their diets while achieving their body composition goals.

An in-depth, 4-week reverse dieting course for women who feel like their metabolism has slowed down, think they might have hormonal imbalance and canโ€™t lose weight no matter what they do.

Why not, right? ๐Ÿ˜‰

As you know,ย Jen came over to see the new place and hang out, but before I knew it, we were making Bloody Mary’s in the kitchen! I was not planning to drink this afternoon, but I had some RIPE Bloody Mary mix in the fridge that the company sent me last week, so I figured that I might as well give it a try!

The RIPE Bloody Mary mix was really good! Jen and I both approved! ๐Ÿ˜€ It had a bold, sort of zesty flavor, and it was a bit thicker than most Bloody Mary mixes. Even as the ice in my drink melted, the mix stayed nice and thick. A little Frank’s hot sauce added the spiciness that I enjoy so much.

Basically, Jen and I concocted the most perfect Bloody Marys ever!

After drinking my Bloody Mary, I broke out a bag of Uncle Jerry’s pretzels to snack on. I ate at least 4 or 5 of them.

Mal and I are going to Body Pump in a little while, so we kept dinner on the light side tonight. Lifting weights with a full stomach is just not a good time!

For dinner, we had Dr. Praegger’s veggie burgers + salsa.

And, on the side, the most delicious roasted broccoli EVER.

Off to find something sweet before Body Pump!

Enjoy the night, bloggies!

  1. I cannot work out after dinner…I just feel too tired and full. Great job on having the motivation to go to Body Pump, maybe you can throw some my way! ๐Ÿ™‚

  2. Mmmm Bloody Mary’s…a woman after my own heart! Although I will say, it isn’t a bloody mary without a big old green olive thrown in there…I hope y’all indulged in a few!

  3. Dr. Praegger’s veggie burgers look so yummy!! I have never seem them before… not sure we have them in MT. But they sure look great with salsa AND a bloody mary! mmm, mmm, mmm!

  4. I’ve never had a Bloody Mary, but I used to love tomato juice as a kid and I love spicy foods now, so I’m sure it’d be up my alley! I’ll have to find a pub for mine, though, seeing as no one’s sending me free samples ๐Ÿ˜›

  5. Hi everyone – Gwen here from RIPE. Wanted to let you know that RIPE is available in the produce section of 50 Whole Foods stores in five states including Connecticut, Massachusetts, New Jersey (excluding Marlton and Princeton), New York and Rhode Island.
