Today has been one of those days. 😕 Nothing has gone terribly wrong, but on top of some no-so-great news that I received earlier this week, I got some more bad news today. Boo! The news isn’t tragic, but it’s a bummer, ya know?
Anyway, I decided to treat myself to a big-ass Caramel Chip Cookie and a mug of coffee. I know you’re not suppose to “feed” your emotions, but sometimes, ya just need to! And, as long as you don’t make it a habit, a delicious, carb-erific cookie, for example, can instantly improve your mood. There’s nothing wrong with that! Plus, isn’t that what comfort foods are for?!

I had the BEST lunch today: PUMPKIN RISOTTO! Omg, it was amazing as leftovers! And I loved scooping my lunch out of a pumpkin this morning!
I also brought a Walnut & Date KIND bar (a treat from Amie!) for later on. I’m eating a celebratory birthday dinner with my mom and sister tonight, but we’re shopping for a Mother of the Bride dress for my mom, so I’m not sure how late it will be when we finally sit down to eat. Might as well be prepared for a hunger “emergency!”
I have a new project that I’m working on, so I better get crackin’!
