Hi, friends! Happy Monday!
Let’s kick things off with a little High Low High from the weekend!
HIGH
Having lunch and catching up with Lauren at Flour!
It was so nice to see her!
Lunch was delicious, and I bought a few cookies to take home with me, which were incredible. Holy yum! Now I really want one (or both) of the Flour cookbooks!
LOW
I got into a little fender bender in my new car. 😥 Of course, I’m glad no one was hurt and the damage can easily be fixed, but I’m still wicked bummed. I had my beloved Camry for 9 years and didn’t get into a single accident, but then I have my new Forester for 2.5 months, and I do. Uggggghhhhh. So bummed.
HIGH
Getting together with friends on Saturday night for drinks, apps, basketball, and fun!
Steak & Cheese Egg Rolls from Main Street = incredible!
HIGH
Breakfast on Sunday morning! Mal made us hash browns with bacon and eggs, which was so, so, so good!
LOW
My bracket blowing up when Wichita lost.
HIGH
Watching Mal and Murphy put together the baby’s crib.
Of course, the pug always needs to help.
It was a fun game for awhile”¦

How was your weekend?
Did you fill out a bracket for March Madness? Who do you have winning the whole thing?
Have you ever been in an accident with a new car?
Do you own either of the Flour cookbooks? Should I buy one of them?

My weekend was so good! Those egg rolls look freaking amazing! I have a bracket and have Virginia winning the whole thing. I’ve done terrible with my picks thus far, so we’ll see! Total bummer about your car…. 🙁
I had an ok weekend. We went to a newish Mediterranean restaurant and I tried chicken and hummus shawarma and baba gannoush. Both were so delicious! Those cookies and egg rolls look AMAZING! I got a brand new 2013 car in July and was hit in a parking lot before Christmas. I was SOOO bummed. I still have a little dent to get fixed – but luckily it’s not awful.
So good seeing you lady! I hope those cookies made up for the fender bender. That one with the coconut and chocolate was incredible! So glad we grabbed some on the way out.
OMG I’m *obsessed* with Flour (both the bakery and the cookbook). Mmmmm homemade croissants!
I’m so sorry to hear that you were in an accident, Tina. Thank God nobody was hurt, but it’s still nerve-wracking when it happens. At least you had Mal & Murphy to cheer you back up! 🙂
Sorry about the car accident, but glad you’re okay!
And Duke and Dayton killlled my bracket….we’ll see how this turns out 🙂
Girl, I feel ya! I had Wichita St going all the way too! So sad!
I haven’t filled out a bracket, but my husband is a Florida Gator alum, so I hope they win!!
I got in an accident about 6 months after getting my first car, it was used, but new to me. Big boo, sorry you got in a fender bender, glad you are okay though!!
I heard flour is a wonderful bakery, I have never been. I would buy a cookbook since you like their stuff so much as a customer.
Ahh booo to accidents! When I bought my car in 2006, someone t-boned me after I’d only had it for two months. I had to go another two months while it was in the shop getting repaired. Glad yours was just a minor fender bender.
Those steak and cheese egg rolls look delicious!
had the same thing happen with my car! I drove a 10 year old Xterra (loved it so so much but my poor baby just wasn’t cut out for city driving, and was dying…) so I bit the bullet, bought a new car, and discovered someone hit me and run! after only having it like 2 months. still crushes me every day seeing that dent….
