All good things must come to an end.

Did you watch the Breaking Bad finale last night? I don’t want to give anything away, but I like how the show ended. The writers tied up all of the loose ends and didn’t leave us hanging like some shows do.
Breaking Bad is definitely a show that will go down in history as one of the best. I’m sad that it’s over, but I’m content with how it ended””and now I want to watch the whole series from the beginning to relive it all again! Best.Show.Ever.
Dinner
Mal and I celebrated the series finale of Breaking Bad with Hoisin Heisenbergers, burgers inspired by the show.
While we cooked, we listened to a Breaking Bad playlist on Songza.
The “Cooking with Walter White” playlist was really good! I didn’t know I was such a fan of “dad-rock classics.” (We listened to Jesse’s playlist, which was all rap, but we didn’t like it as much.)
I made Marie’s Purple Slaw and the Spicy Hoisin Mayonnaise while Mal was on burger duty.
Murphy and I kept Mal company while he grilled outside. The pug loved the smell of the Hoisin Heisenbergers! Look at him sniffing the air. So cute!
The burgers turned out so well!! I loved the Spicy Hoisin Mayonnaise, and the recipe made a huge serving, so I’ll be putting that on everything for the next few days. The actual burgers had so much flavor””the ginger, sesame, soy sauce, and hoisin were incredible together. We will definitely make these again!
After dinner, Mal and I cleaned up the kitchen together. I washed dishes and loaded the dishwasher while he took out the garbage. When Mal was bagging up the trash, he found a little surprise waiting for him at the bottom of the trash can.
The skull strikes again!!! I got him. Mal said it was my best one yet!
(I made sure to disinfect the skull after I removed it from the bottom of the trash can.)
