I received some bad news at my doctor’s appointment this afternoon: no running for 3 months. I’m so bummed! Wah! 😥
The doc diagnosed me with Trochanteric Bursitis, which is what I went to physical therapy for the first time! So, I’m headed back to physical therapy for another 6 weeks, but this time with a more aggressive treatment using steroids… and, of course, no running. Meh. 🙁
On a more positive note, I can still exercise! Thank goodness! 😀 My Twitter friends have already given me a ton of ideas for workouts, including kickboxing, spinning, yoga, biking, pilates, etc., so I guess my no-running diagnosis won’t be that bad.
And, I got to wear these sweet shorts during my examination. I was stylin’! 😉
Lunch
I ate leftovers for lunch today: brown rice and couscous mixed with marinated chicken and grape tomatoes. It was very satisfying.
I also had a sweet treat with lunch: honey-flavored Oikos.
As an afternoon snack, I enjoyed a Lindor chocolate and an iced coffee from Starbucks. My cousin, Andrea, works at the Starbucks closest to my office, so I got the hook-up today! Thanks, cuz!
Marie is making homemade meatballs for dinner tonight, and the apartment smells amazing! I can’t wait to EAT!
