Hi, friends and hello from Seattle!
I’m spending one more night here before I fly to Redmond, Oregon for a fun-filled week with the Haupert clan. I’m solo tonight at the hotel, so it’s the perfect time to recap an epic weekend with the Brooks Running Run Happy Ambassadors. This is my 4th year with Brooks, and this trip might just be my favorite yet!
I had such a wonderful time with an awesome bunch of runners (seriously, I loved everyone), and the whole experience was so fun and so well organized. I definitely feel honored to be part of such a great group! With that, here’s a recap of the best of the weekend!
The Run Happy Ambassadors! Seriously, this group of women + one man was simply THE BEST. I got along with everyone and we all had so much in common – obviously, running, but plenty besides running! Brooks truly selected the perfect group of runners to represent them. I loved getting to know new friends and catching up with old! 🙂

The gear we received + an exciting shoe and apparel preview. Guys, Brooks has so many amazing products coming to market soon!
In fact, just TODAY (July 1st) a whole bunch of new styles were released on the Brooks website. I’ll be sure to highlight specifics that I’m wearing in this post, but here are some favorites from the website to get you going!
The Ghost 11 (pictured below) received a few updates and everyone is raving about how awesome they are – even more than before. They’re actually Brooks most popular shoe!
Ghost Racerback – This tank is super cute in person – lots of the ambassadors were wearing it this weekend! I own it in teal and love it!
Dash Hoodie – Soft and cozy and perfect for cool weather runs and everyday athleisure. I need it in my life!
Anddddd… here’s a little preview of what’s coming out this fall. I lovvvveee all of these sneakers below and can’t wait to get my hands on some of them! 🙂
Running 5 miles with the whole crew – I haven’t run very much in the past few months because of injuries, but I felt pretty darn great on this run. Plus, it was really nice to catch up with old friends. I love how running brings people together this way!
Wearing (above): Stealth Tank + Greenlight Capri
The experience also reinvigorated my love for running, which is perfect timing with the Falmouth Road Race next month. It’s time to build up my mileage again! Yeehaw! 🙂
Dinner, oysters, and conversation at Westward – What a fabulous night! On the first night of the trip, we were treated to a delicious dinner at Westward, a beautiful restaurant right on the water.
The food and drink were excellent, especially the local oysters, which were a highlight of the night for me as well as a first time experience for a number of the ambassadors. It was fun “coaching” them through the full oyster experience. We had a mix of new fans and runners who will likely never eat an oyster again! Haha! Hey, I give them credit for at least trying one! 🙂
A dinner cruise around the lake – Ahhhh, this was SO MUCH FUN and probably my favorite part of the whole weekend! 🙂
Participating in the cheer line for the Special Olympics – This was such a cool opportunity, and I’m so glad that I was able to be part of such a wonderful event.
Wearing: Ghost High-Wist Mesh Crop + July 4th Launch
I loved seeing all of the different athletes from all over the U.S. and how proud they were to be part of the Special Olympics. I must have given hundreds of high-fives and well wishes! It was all so inspiring, and I’m still smiling about the experience as I type this blog post! 🙂
A huge THANKS to Brooks for allowing me to be part of this wonderful community and experience such a phenomenal weekend in Seattle!
