Good morning!
It’s Friday and you know what that means: Time for another edition of What I’m Loving Lately! Here we go!
Spring wardrobe essentials from Grana – The brand recently reached out to me about trying some of their apparel, and I was immediately on board. Grana recently launched in the US and they make high-quality basics and timeless wardrobe staples (i.e. tees, tanks, sweaters, jeans) at really affordable prices using fabrics from around the world: Chinese Silk, Mongolian Cashmere, Irish Linen, Japanese Denim, Peruvian Pima Cotton, French Poplin, Chinese Cotton Twill, Italian Merino Wool and Japanese Chambray. Sounds fancy-schmancy, right? But because Grana designs their merchandise in-house and eliminates costly middlemen by working directly with fabric mills, they offer their clothing to customers at low prices. Love that. And I love that their casual-cool clothing fits my life. I’ve been wearing their tees and super soft sweaters non-stop lately. Favorites from Grana:
Pima Scoop Neck T-shirt – Mediterranean Blue ($15) Lovvveee. There are a million ways to wear this t-shirt, but my favorite, of course, is with jeans or leggings and a comfy pair of TOMS. I love the stripped version too!
Pima Modal Tank – White ($19) I want a million more of these tanks. It’s probably the softest, most comfortable tank I’ve ever worn.
Cashmere Boyfriend V-Neck – Light Heather Gray ($99) This sweater is sooooooo super soft. I love layering it over a t-shirt or tank with jeans. You can totally dress it up or lounge in it.
Cashmere Crew Neck Cardigan – Charcoal ($99) I love throwing on this cardigan over a tee on chilly days. Easy-peasy.
How to Teach Your Son What Real Hip Hop Is – I’m still laughing!
Deep Dish Salted Caramel Chocolate Chip Blondies – A friend from Salt Shack made these for the final workout of the Open and, holy cow, they are incredible””definitely a must try! As well as these No Bake Peanut Butter Bars! Mmm!
Brooks Nantucket Adrenaline GTS 16 – Are these not the most adorable running sneakers you have ever seen? Oh my gosh, I love them so muchhhh. There’s even a Nantucket whale on them! They’re available starting today (4/1) in specialty running stores in Boston as well as at the Boston Marathon expo.
My new Massage Envy Spa membership (***giveaway below***) – Yep, I totally signed up for a membership, but hear me out first. I was offered a free massage from the nice folks at Massage Envy Spa (Norwell) and it was wonderful. Mackenzie, my therapist, was awesome and so incredibly strong. She’s quite petite, but, wow, she had a firm touch. It definitely hurt so good.
At the end of my treatment, I listened to the membership option, and I was pleasantly surprised. For just $54.99 per month (with Harvard Pilgrim Health Insurance, you save $5 per month + get a FREE massage when you sign up for the membership), you can either get a customized 60-minute massage or Murad facial. You can “gift” one massage to the person of your choice every 6 months, so Mal will also benefit from my membership. (He’s not as massage crazy as I am, so it works out perfectly.) I can even save up/skip a massage, so Mal and I can get a couples massage together. You do have to commit to a year for the membership, but you don’t lose any massages/facials if you miss a month or two. I actually was a little hesitant about signing up for a whole year, but I typically get a massage every month or so (and the occasional facial), so this deal was just too good to beat! Plus, massage is so great for the mind, body, and soul. I truly look forward to the experience, so I am especially pumped about my new Massage Envy membership!
Cats scared by zucchini and cucumbers – Apparently this is a thing and it’s absolutely ridiculous!
Dark Chocolate Fudgy Pudding Pops – These look delicious and they’re good for you!
The Spoon Theory – If you ever wanted to understand what living with a chronic disease is all about, read this post.
