Good morning! I hope your day is off to a great start. Murphy‘s day definitely is. Check out how I just found his bowl:
I guess breakfast was really delicious this morning! Haha!
Breakfast
Yesterday’s breakfast was my usual French Toast Breakfast Scramble with a couple of scoops of freshly ground honey-roasted peanut butter from Fresh Market and a glass of decaf French vanilla iced coffee with almond milk. Thanks to the honey-roasted peanut butter, which is now gone (I didn’t buy all that much, but still… I have a nut butter problem), it was an especially delicious breakfast.
Top 10 Most Viewed Posts of the Year
Over the weekend, I was playing around and checking the Google Analytics for CNC. I wanted to know what kind of posts garner the most traffic, and I was surprised to see which ones received the highest number of pageviews. It turns out 7 out of my 10 most viewed posts on CNC had images that ended up on Pinterest, which just goes to show you the power of it. Mental note: Use Pinterest more.
Without further ado, here are the top 10 most viewed CNC posts of 2012!
1. So Cheesy
My most viewed post of the year was for a recipe that wasn’t even mine! I blogged about Jessica’s Cheesy Sweet Potato Crisps back in 2010 and one of my photos was pinned (and repinned) all over Pinterest.
People loved “Oatmeal” Minus the Oats in 2012! This post/image ended up on Pinterest and got pinned around a lot as well.
3. Paleo Pumpkin Walnut Muffins
Another popular pin-able recipe! These muffins were a big hit on Pinterest, but I have to admit, I prefer my Paleo Morning Glory Muffins, which I still think are the best muffins I’ve ever made.
This post ended up on StumbleUpon and went crazy with click throughs. It’s probably my most favorite CNC post of all time, so I’m glad a lot of people got to read it. Murphy is one smart pug.
5. No More Excuses: Motivational Quotes to Get Your Butt In Gear
Pinterest loved this post because it had tons of motivational quotes and images. Need a little fitness inspiration? This post is for you!
6. 7 Low-Calorie Cocktails You Need to Try
Who doesn’t love a good cocktail? Again, this post was really popular on Pinterest.
7. Paleo Recipes for Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner
Paleo was all the rage last year, so this post did well””both on Pinterest and via Google/search.
8. 45-Minute Treadmill Workout
In addition to recipes, Pinterest loves workouts! I’ve pinned all sorts of workouts on Pinterest, but this one was by far the most viewed. It is an awesome treadmill workout”” probably my favorite ever.
This post is so random… and old. I still can’t believe it was one of my most viewed of the year. It must have some really great SEO because people find it all the time and still comment on it. If you want a good laugh, read some of the comments on the last page related to “pug meat.” Haha!
10. How 3 Months of CrossFit Changed My Body
I guess people wanted to know how CrossFit might change their body. Lots of web searches turned up this post.

What was your favorite CNC post from last year?
P.S. I saw this card trick on Ellen the other day and just wanted to share. It’s pretty cool and you can do it at home. Of course, Mal and I broke out a deck of cards to see if it worked. (It did!)
