The other night, I had the opportunity to attend an advanced screening of the “Mother’s Day” movie, which premiers in theaters nationwide TODAY, April 29th. The nice folks from Lindt Chocolate offered me a few tickets to the screening, so I invited my sister and friend, Jess, also moms, to attend with me. Lindt also provided car service to and from the movie (I especially loved this because South Shore traffic is the worst), so we decided to make a night of it!
Our evening kicked-off with happy hour– complete with wine, snacks…
… and, of course, LINDOR Milk Chocolate Truffles, which make their big screen appearance as the “official chocolate” of the Mother’s Day movie.
After happy hour, our car arrived to drive us into Boston for the screening. The three of us had a great time chatting about fitness, kids, and life as moms.
The Mother’s Day movie features an incredible A-list cast (pictured below + Jennifer Garner, Sarah Chalke, Jon Lovitz, and more) and depicts the intersecting stories of different mothers’ lives. It was definitely a chick flick (my fav) and SO MUCH funnier than I expected. I literally laughed out loud on a number of occasions!
When we arrived at the theater, we were pleasantly surprised to see prime seating reserved for us. Yesssss!
Midway through the movie, I saw one of two LINDOR Milk Chocolate Truffle cameos and even snapped a photo because I was so excited to see them. Ha!
After the movie, we continued our girls’ night at a local restaurant, where we grabbed some drinks, shared some fondue, and chatted a whole lot more.
Our evening concluded with our car service home. It was such a fun night and, as moms, I know we all appreciated an evening out on the town. Thank you, Lindt!
