My favorite type of morning: Body Pump + Wheelhouse Diner. It’s really THE BEST way to start the day! This morning, Mal and I joined our friends, Dave and Marie, for an early-morning Body Pump class, and then the 4 of us headed straight to the Wheelhouse Diner for breakfast.

At the Wheelhouse, I started with a big glass of iced coffee with cream and sugar. I was so thirsty after Body Pump, so it really hit the spot!

To eat, I ordered my usual breakfast: one egg over hard, homefries, and rye toast with butter. I almost always finish the entire portion, and for $2.95, it’s totally worth the price!

And the best part about this morning: we scored VIP parking right outside the Wheelhouse!

I’m having one of those days where my workout seriously stimulates my appetite, so now I am snacking on some Glutino Chocolate Covered Pretzels that the company sent me to sample. They’re very chocolaty!

This afternoon, Mal and I are running some errands and then we’re heading to a friend’s engagement party.

Enjoy your Saturday, blog friends! 8-)

I never had Rye toast. It looks really good. I love chocolate and pretzels. The sweet and salty flavors are the best.

By the way, is the blue car your car in that picture…? Who’s that in the backseat?! Freaks me out a little.

Have an awesome Saturday! :)

I went to Body Pump for the first time yesterday with a friend who brought me as a guest to her gym. I’m mostly a runner so this class kicked my butt! I’m SO sore today! Needless to say, I’m going to need to check into becoming a member of that gym :)

my friend is celiac so she always had the gluten free pretzels–I think they taste ten time better than regular pretzels!

Chocolate covered pretzels are amazingly addicting. I cannot keep them in my house!

I need to get in on that free gluten-free snack action. I really like Glutino’s pretzels (except they are very, very pricey). The pretzels are really airy and crisp. I’ve never had the chocolate-covered, but I’m sure that they are delish.

I discovered the “Diner type” of food when I moved to the states, and now I can’t get enough! It’s so cheap, and so good! And especially after a good workout!!

That breakfast looks tasty! (except for the egg) I’ve never had rye toast either but I’d definitely try it since I love toast and those choco pretzels…mmm! I didn’t know they made ones that are gluten free.

$2.95?!?! Are you kidding me? OMG. You Americans are so lucky! When I order eggs florentine at my local cafe, it costs $13. And plus, you have chocolate covered pretzels. Sigh.
