I feel like Little Miss Scatterbrain this morning! 😕
My mind is constantly thinking about what needs to be done next– it pretty much makes an endless To Do List for me. I’m sure that this sounds sort of annoying to most people, but I’ve learned how to deal with it and make it work to my advantage. I can usually get a lot done in a small amount of time! 😀
One of my “go to” strategies for shutting off my brain at bedtime is keeping a pad of paper and a pen on my bedside table, so if these To Do List tasks sneak into my thoughts, I can write them down and deal with them in the morning. Last night, however, I didn’t use this strategy and just thought I’d remember what I needed to do when I woke up. There were 2 things that I needed to do today. I remembered one, but I cannot remember the second thing… and it’s driving me nuts! 👿 Hopefully, it will come to me. Well, at least, I learned my lesson!
Breakfast
I actually woke up to exercise before work this morning, so by the time I was finished, I was famished and ready to eat breakfast!
Yesterday’s “winning combination” didn’t hold me over that well, so I reverted back to good ol’ oats this morning.
In the mix: Oats, wheat bran, ground flaxseed meal, vanilla hemp milk, canned pumpkin, chopped walnuts, and peanut butter.
With a side of sliced pear…
Oatmeal + pear with hemp iced coffee…
