    Attention: Planner people!

You are going to looovvve this product! 😀

As you may know, I track my workouts via pen + planner (as well as on the blog). My method is fine and dandy, but the FLogg DAILY or “Food/Fitness Log” is SO MUCH BETTER!

As many of you know, a number of studies have demonstrated that keeping a personal journal is a valuable way to achieving successful weight loss. By tracking your caloric activity (both calories in & out) on a daily basis, you are providing a working history that will help instill healthy behavior as well as offer insight and motivation for permanent lifestyle changes.

The Flogg DAILY is for the fitness-focused:

    • Track caloric activity daily
    • Gauge your progress on personal assessment pages
    • Reference caloric guides for nutrition and exercise
    • Fit for any diet or fitness program
    • Perfect for training sessions

Using the FLogg DAILY, your meals and workouts are divided equally onto two-pages. This gives you plenty of room to track your calories and exercise for a full three months. I’m fairly lax with my calorie-counting and workouts, so I divided the Flogg journal pages in half and used each one for 2 days instead of 1 to extend the life of my Flogg DAILY. However, if you so desire, you can record practically every single detail about your workout and food choices for the day.

The Flogg DAILY is a nice, little journal. It’s classic style looks just like a regular planner, but its contents are geared toward those interested in living a healthy lifestyle– including a place to gauge your progress and a calorie reference guide for a number of foods and exercises. For me, it has come in handy for planning my workouts for the week and keeping calorie estimates on my diet.

I love this quote on one of the pages inside the Flogg DAILY:

The secret to winning is constant, consistent management.

It sort of reminds me of my advice to readers who ask me about losing weight. I often tell them to just “keep truckin‘!” Weight loss doesn’t happen over night and so much of it is about consistency— one bad day won’t hinder your efforts, but you’ve gotta get back on track the very next day. In this sense, the Flogg DAILY is a constant reminder of keeping yourself on track.

In just over a week, the Flogg has proved to be a great tool for me. It didn’t give me any sort of diet-exercise epiphany, but it has forced me to assess my eating and workout habits on a daily basis. I love writing things down and crossing them off my list, so the Flogg journal has been the perfect “companion” for keeping me on track. And, of course, I want to keep the pages full with my written accomplishments and progress. It’s motivating to see all of the work you’ve done!

How to enter the Flogg DAILY Giveaway:

O i would love this, this could help me out in so many ways. I havent been able to find a good work out book so this just may be the one.

    Christy April 30, 2009 at 10:17 am

Id looove to have my fitness and calorie counting in one place…right now I use outlook, a personal planner, and an online site….condensing would be GREAT!

    Jessica April 30, 2009 at 10:21 am

I’m so disorganized and this would make it more convienient on the go than doing it online, so I would be more likely to stick with a plan.

    bobbi April 30, 2009 at 10:32 am

because it would make my life more simple:)

    Renee April 30, 2009 at 10:41 am

Ooooh I really need the FLOGG because my food/exercise planner is too small and starting to look disorganized!

    Beth P. April 30, 2009 at 10:42 am

I would love a Flogg Daily Planner – I have yet to find a good way for me to food/exercise journal and I feel if I did it would certainly help me to see where I could be better about eating & exercising!!! Thanks for holding the giveaway contest.

The Flogg Daily Planner sounds wonderful. I currently keep my daily training information in a spiral notebook and an online training log. I include all of my workouts, but not what I am eating. I think the Flogg would be good for keeping everything in one place!

    MaryBe April 30, 2009 at 11:40 am

I love to make lists, and have them all over the house. I would love ONE place to keep track of everything!

    Lindsay April 30, 2009 at 12:00 pm

My fridge surface is full of lists: meal plan for the week, week’s exercise plan, month’s budget, five year plan for finances, marathon training, cleaning checklist, calendar….Would love this for a portable version!

    Leah April 30, 2009 at 12:00 pm

I’ve just started keeping a food journal (in a plain old notebook), but this looks like it would make everything even easier, and all in one place!

    Kristen April 30, 2009 at 12:11 pm

I would love a Flogg DAILY so that everything is in one place. Right now things are all over the place – in my head, on the computer, in my phone, at work, at home. Agh! It would be wonderful to be able to keep it all together.

    Brittany April 30, 2009 at 12:22 pm

I’ve always kept a food and workout record but the flogg seems perfect!

    Linnea April 30, 2009 at 12:23 pm

I am an organizational FREAK. Sounds like this product is right up my ally!

    Courtney April 30, 2009 at 5:51 pm

I love to be organized! I never got a planner this year, and I just started a new job and I am already all stressed and anxious about not having one! I NEED it!

    Lindsey April 30, 2009 at 8:07 pm

I have several different notebooks floating around my backpack for food, weight lifting, and exercise. This would definitely help me streamline!

    Menden April 30, 2009 at 9:02 pm

Hi! I could definitely use a FLOGG, first off, cuz it’s a great name, and secondly, because I can consolidate all the little notebooks I have floating around!

    Bev May 1, 2009 at 6:00 am

Flogg journal is just what I need to get my daily activities in. A definitely great tool to use daily

    Lisa May 1, 2009 at 7:49 am

I love planners–when I was little it was my favorite part of going back to school. Now that I’m in medical school I am always looking for new ways to keep me organized!

    Tara May 1, 2009 at 8:17 am

I love planners! This would really help me organize my time!

    Marissa May 1, 2009 at 8:24 am

A Flogg would be great to help me track when I’m on the go and not near my computer!

    Magen May 1, 2009 at 9:10 am

I would LOVE a flogg! I don’t log anything I’m eating right now – and i’m trying to lose the last 15 pounds. This would be a FABULOUS tool to help me get and stay on track! And, i love saying FLOGG. 😉

    Ellie May 1, 2009 at 9:41 am

    Hi Tina,
I would LOVE one of those journals. I do pretty intense cardio and strength training about four times a week, but I never keep track of it, and I know I would be infinitely more motivated to so so if I had a special place to write it all down. I would especially benefit from this from the strength training–I NEVER write down weights or reps and I know I really should. I also write down what I eat, but very haphazardly in the back of one of my school notebooks. So, I could really use one of these! Thanks for running the contest.

    Mallory May 1, 2009 at 9:58 am

I would LOVE to have one book that I can use for workouts, planning, food, etc. so I can get it all organized in one place ( = I won’t have 3 different calendars floating around in my purse!)

    Sherrie May 1, 2009 at 10:08 am

That would be perfect for me to use to be accountable for my daily food intake: If you bite it, write it
If you drink it, ink it

    Brianna May 1, 2009 at 10:30 am

My wedding is next May, so now would be the perfect time to get a Flogg and start getting on track!

    christine May 1, 2009 at 11:04 am

This is so cool. Everything in one place….Right now I am working a calendar, a book for tracking my food intake and a book for exercise…Thanks for a great giveaway.

    Bethany May 1, 2009 at 11:09 am

I would LOVE one of these planners. One of my goals for this month is to keep better track of my workouts and food intake. The Flogg would be perfect!

    schaferl1 May 1, 2009 at 11:51 am

    Annalisa May 1, 2009 at 8:41 pm

as organized electronically as i am, a paper version would be way easier!

    Catherine May 1, 2009 at 10:15 pm

I just can not switch over to organizing everything completely electronically – I love writing things down and making notes. I want a flogg 🙂
