I’ve been having a lot of fun with the almond flour/meal lately. Here’s another delicious recipe for you!

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup almond flour/meal
  • 1 tbsp liquid egg whites
  • 1 tsp ground flaxseed meal
  • 1/2 tsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • pinch of salt

Directions:

Combine all ingredients in a bowl; blend well.

Roll batter into a ball.

Coat cooking surface with non-stick spray and then spread the batter into a round disk. Be sure to keep batter intact (no holes).

Top crust with your favorite toppings””sauce, cheese, veggies, meat, etc.

Bake on 375 degrees F in toaster oven for approximately 15-18 minutes until crust is cooked all the way through. Use a spatula to remove pizza from oven. Eat and enjoy!

I made this pizza as a snack yesterday and then doubled the recipe for a larger portion for lunch today. It’s so delish!

  2. Thanks for the pizza crust recipe. Though putting asparagus on a pizza is pretty much sacrilegious to me (grew up in Chicago and living in NYC) ;).

    Cooking pizza in a toaster oven is a great idea. It’s fast, easy, and you only make just enough. This margarita pizza recipe is one of my favs for a toaster oven. It’s definitely not paleo friendly, but you can swap out the crust with the almond flour one.
