We’re all packed up and ready to go! Well, sort of! 😉

Mal and I spent a good portion of last night packing-up our apartment, but we still have more to pack! We ran out of boxes, so we called it a night. Plus, the first Pats game of the season was on TV, so Mal was all about quitting time!

Packing was a great opportunity to purge some of the things we no longer want or use. Check out the pile of stuff we are donating!

Breakfast On-the-Go

As I mentioned last night, I’m at Healthworks getting my butt kicked by our team’s trainer, so I prepared breakfast last night to take with me this morning. I toasted two Van’s Waffles, spread a thick layer of peanut butter on each, topped with raisins, and stuck them together to create an easily transportable waffle sandwich. I rounded out breakfast with a big banana and a POMx Ice Coffee (not pictured).

I helped plan a “healthy living” event for my office, so I’ll be participating in it at lunchtime today. I’ll do my best to post about it later– I think it’s going to be great!

I’m not sure what the internet situation will be at our new apartment, but you know I’ll be back as soon as possible!

Enjoy your Tuesday! 😎

  1. All-around, NYC is incomparable. Everytime I go back I yearn to return full-time and feel so sad to leave! But internationally: London, Prague, Budapest, Guayaquil.

  2. Packing is awful – good luck with the move! The only good thing about packing though is getting rid of stuff – it is amazing how much stuff we accumulate.

My favorite city would probably be Savannah, GA (not in the summer time though)! Great food, beautiful parks and houses!

  3. Boston! I’ve lived in many cities across the US. I grew up and live here again in Boston. Being away from it makes you realize how amazing it is here. So many great things to offer…well, except the winter weather! Hopefully we’ll be spared this winter and it’ll be a mild one with minimal snow!

  4. Good Luck with the move! I can’t wait to see what the new place looks like!!!

My favorite city is the city that I am from Chicago!!! The architecture and the vibe from this city is just amazing!

  5. Boston is great- I actually prefer it to NYC. But I also love the city I grew up in, Marquette, MI- it’s so beautiful and set right on Lake Superior. Skiing in the winter, amazing hiking and swimming in the summer. I also really love visiting Ithaca, NY where my husband is from- as they say there “Ithaca is gorges!”

  6. My favorite city is Philadelphia! Now I don’t usually comment, but seeing that no one said Philadelphia disappointed me. There is SO MUCH history and so many wonderful people. The sports teams are great too! I may be biased, because it’s where I grew up, but seriously, it’s terrific place.

  7. Boston 100%! I have lived in Mass. my whole life and I just love Boston and all the history and all the things that Bostonians take pride in- the Red Sox, the Marathon, etc etc. It’s the best!

  8. I love Boston. I am totally bias because I live here. But, I love that the seasons change, I love that it is a big city, but really small at the same time, I love that I can take the T anywhere, I love ho walkable it is, I love the Res Sox! Just a few things…

Good Luck with the move…can’t wait to Body Pump with you next week!

  9. I love DC! I moved out here about 7 months ago from Cleveland because I just really wanted to live in a big exciting city while I’m young. It’s more than I even thought it would be! Such nice people and so many fun things to do :O).

  10. I loved Boston! Such history there and also hip places!! I loved the culture and all the walking that can be done. I’d love to go back someday!!

  11. Good luck with the move! Favorite cities – Galway, Ireland or Barcelona, Spain. . . or Vienna 🙂 All beautiful for different reasons with great food, art, and culture.

  12. Hehe… when Bobby and I moved we made a pile to give away, but ended up not having a chance to give it away before we moved and then we had to just move it anyway =/ I’m trying to go through our stuff now though to clean out the new apartment.
