Hi, guys! Happy Monday to you!

Before we get into the “meat” (is that weird?) of this blog post, I have two quick announcements for ya…

1. Today is the FINAL day to save 15% at Beautycounter. If you’ve wanted to try the Overnight Resurfacing Peel or Charcoal Mask, now is the time to do so! Or if you’re already a customer, be sure to stock up on your favorites. There might not be another site-wide sale like this until next year!

If you’re looking for product recommendations, check out this blog post that shares my updated (super simple) skincare and makeup routine as well as some additional details about the sale.

2. Today kicks off a fun 6-week running challenge hosted by Brooks Running! Mal, Quinn, and I are all planning to join in. Check out additional details on the Brooks website (and to receive weekly updates) as well as this post on Instagram. And, of course, let me know if you’re IN for the challenge. I’d love to have some buddies join me! 🙂

The Macro-Balanced Breakfast I Can’t Stop Eating

I don’t know about you, but I’ve been SO LAZY with my meals this summer. I’m still meal prepping and eating healthy for the most part, but I haven’t been on top of my meal prep and cooking game like I usually am. Basically, this means I’ve been eating a lot of rice cakes with nut butter (typically Teddie Peanut Butter) and banana slices for breakfast. And, honestly, I’m not all that upset by it! 😉 I mean, it’s a delicious breakfast that fills me up and is fairly nutritious and macro-balanced. Ya can’t beat that, right!?

At-Home Workouts I’ve Done Lately

On the workout front, I’m sort of in limbo right now. I signed up for an Orangetheory membership at a NEW location just minutes from our house, but it doesn’t open until mid-September. I have a membership at the YMCA, but I’m just not super motivated to work out there. Long story short, I’ve been doing at-home workouts quite a lot lately. I love a good running workout or one with minimal equipment, so it’s pretty easy to just make it happen at home in our driveway! 🙂

Here are some favorites from last week – most are bodyweight or require minimal equipment. The last workout was technically done on a treadmill at the YMCA, but you could totally do it outside. Happy sweating!

FYI: If you’re in the market for adding a kettlebell or two to your equipment, Amazon’s “Deal of the Day” is on kettlebells! 🙂
