Cinnamon Brown Sugar Pancakes

Mastermind Weekend 1/16

Hey there!

I'm Tina

I’m the owner of Carrots ‘N’ Cake as well as a Certified Nutrition Coach and Functional Diagnostic Nutrition Practitioner (FDN-P). I use macros and functional nutrition to help women find balance within their diets while achieving their body composition goals.

An in-depth, 4-week reverse dieting course for women who feel like their metabolism has slowed down, think they might have hormonal imbalance and can’t lose weight no matter what they do.

Mmm! DELICIOUS breakfast this morning!

These Cinnamon Brown Sugar Pancakes are equally delicious and satisfying. The protein from the Oikos and eggs and the fiber from the oats and apples filled me up and kept me full for hours. And the combination of sweet honey Oikos, brown sugar, and cinnamon provided the perfect flavors for a cool, crisp autumn morning breakfast.

I woke up with the sun this morning, but instead of shooting out of bed to start my day, I relaxed and daydreamed about breakfast! Oh, the mind of a food blogger!

I recently received an email from the Stonyfield folks about their new sweepstakes– just for bloggers:

Stonyfield invites you to take a deep breath, say “Ohm” and enter the Na-Moo-Ste Giveaway! If your post wins, you and a friend will relax and revitalize during a weekend yoga retreat at the beautiful Kripalu Center for Yoga & Health. You will enjoy two days and two nights of rest and renewal for your body, mind and spirit.

This prize includes:

  • Transportation to Kripalu Center, a premier yoga retreat located in Lenox, MA
  • Accommodations at Kripalu in a Standard Plus Room with delicious all-natural meals
  • Daily experiential workshops and guided outdoor activities
  • Daily yoga and YogaDanceâ„¢ classes
  • Evening events
  • Use of Kripalu amenities: sauna, whirlpool, fitness room, lake front beach, and hiking trails

There are three different ways to enter the Na-Moo-Ste Giveaway:

A) Share an original story about why you need to say “Ohm”

B) Post a photo of you doing yoga in a toga (Oikos is Greek yogurt after all!)

C) Share a recipe you created using Oikos yogurt as an ingredient

Here’s my submission for the Stonyfield Oikos contest:

Cinnamon Brown Sugar Pancakes

I’m off to the dog park with the boys!

Happy Sunday! 😎

  1. OMG ! Those pancakes look soooooo good ! I will definately be trying them ! What a perfect Fall/ Sunday breakfast. Makes the egg sammie I had this morning look so sad ! LOL !

  2. WOW do those look amazing…what a great ingredient list, too! I’ve already emailed it to my dad (the pancake lover of the family)! Enjoy the rest of your day!

  3. That is one awesome contest- I hope you win! Your pancakes look magazine worthy! Josh and I went to Southend last night and it reminded me of the awesome din din we had there!

  4. Thanks for sharing about the contest! What a fabulous prize package!

Those pancakes are inspiring! Lately I just have NOT been making the time to cook anything special.

  5. I tested these out along with a boxed healthy brand and these won out hands down. I added blueberries to the batter. Oh… I forgot the flour and they turned out great – whoops… I used a sugar free maple syrup for our topping but big hit with the family! They also enjoyed scrambled eggs and sausage but for me just the pancakes. Great post!

  6. I was just wondering if you would be able to sub. in Wheat flour instead of all purpose? Just wondering if the ratios would be the same?? Thank you!
