I think my new name should be “Snack Girl” from now on. I’ve been so snacky this afternoon. The snacks just don’t seem to stop!
As soon as I got home from the gym, my snackfest started with an Uncle Jerry’s pretzel.
And, then a couple of handfuls of Vanilla Almond Galaxy Granola that arrived on my doorstop from the company this afternoon. Obviously, I had to sample it right away! š The Vanilla Almond flavor is yummy!
Then, right before dinner, I whipped up a big batch of kale chips to munch on.
I <3 kale chips!
Dinner
When dinnertime rolled around, I wasn’t very hungry because of all of the snacks that I ate during the afternoon, but I figured that I should eat a meal instead of continuing to snack.
Mal made whole wheat penne with marinara sauce for dinner tonight, so I added mine to a big bed of arugula.
Arugula + pasta + marinara = delicious!
As always, I wanted something sweet after dinner, so I made my go-to snack: two whole wheat Sandwich Thins with a smear of peanut butter and chocolate + PB chips on top. Mmm!
So yummy!
I’m actually climbing right into bed as soon as I publish this post. I’m pretty tired, but I also committed myself to a 5:30 AM Body Pump class! šÆ My friend, Marie, is going too, so I need to get my be-hind outta bed! I can’t let her down.
