Ok, so, we all have those foods that we can’t be “trusted” around. I should have known months ago that one of mine is Barney Butter.
After finishing off another jar in less than a week, I knew it was time for some portion control! Of course, I’m not giving up one of my favorite foods anytime soon, but I do need to cool-it with the amount I am consuming. I can still enjoy my beloved Barney Butter, but in moderation. Thankfully, Barney Butter comes in 90-calorie packets that should help me with my little “problem.” (The packets are also great for portable breakfasts! 😉 )
Breakfast was a delicious bowl of stovetop oats with banana, wheatberries, wheat bran, vanilla hemp milk, and 2 packets of Barney Butter. I love this combo of ingredients!
Breakfast also included iced coffee with vanilla soy milk and agave nectar.
Later this morning, I have an appointment with my doctor about my stupid hip that is still injured. Overall, my hip is getting better, but every time I think it’s healed, I test it out with a run, which ends up hurting it again. I’m starting to think 13.1 miles on Sunday is out of the question, but who knows what my doc will say. To be honest, I shouldn’t have waited so long to see a doctor– hopefully, I didn’t mess myself up for good! I’ll fill ya in later!
