17 Healthy Snacks You Can Find at CVS – Including 8 Personal Favorites

Mastermind Weekend 1/16

Hey there!

I'm Tina

I’m the owner of Carrots ‘N’ Cake as well as a Certified Nutrition Coach and Functional Diagnostic Nutrition Practitioner (FDN-P). I use macros and functional nutrition to help women find balance within their diets while achieving their body composition goals.

An in-depth, 4-week reverse dieting course for women who feel like their metabolism has slowed down, think they might have hormonal imbalance and can’t lose weight no matter what they do.

I’m an avid shopper and long-time lover of CVS, so I’m proud to be working with CVS Pharmacy again to help spread the word about #BetterHealthMadeEasy and how to #FindYourHealthy. All opinions expressed are my own, and all product claims or program details shared should be verified at CVS.com or with the appropriate manufacturers. Thank you for supporting CNC!

I’m sure many of you can relate to running into CVS for a quick purchase and leaving with a bag of peanut M&Ms or canister of dark chocolate covered cashews. Well, ok, maybe that’s just me, but I’m sure you guys have experienced a similar situation when you’re on-the-go and in need of a snack.

If you haven’t noticed already, the checkout area at your local CVS looks quite a bit different nowadays. Instead of the typical sugary candy bars, you have your pick of healthy snacks, including roasted chickpeas, turkey jerky, marinated olives, and more! In fact, nearly half of the foods found in CVS stores are “better-for-you” options.

I’m sure we can all agree that healthy snacking and eating right is important to our overall wellness, so I love that CVS continues to curate a selection of awesome, better-for-you brands that make eating on-the-go convenient and affordable. It’s important to me (and my family) that we can quickly and easily find CVS healthy foods. (Please note my tiny photography assistant below.)

Nowadays, you’ll find more than 250 fresh, refrigerated, and non-perishable healthy foods and beverages inside a CVS store, including more than 175 organic items. Hey, I’m impressed! 🙂 That said, read on for 17 healthy (and awesome) snacks, including 8 of my personal favorites that you can final at your local CVS!

Question of the Day

Do you live near a CVS? What’s your favorite healthy on-the-go snack?

  1. Oh man, the infamous CVS pit stop for M&Ms. I know it all too well. I’m a fan of protein bars. Quest mostly, but also Rx! They’re super simple to throw into my purse and grab ’em when I’m hungry. The chickpea/cashew/edamame blend sounds interesting. I’d give that one a whirl!

  2. Quinn is quite the photographer… I LOVE IT! Well now I need every single snack that you posted. I’m drooling! Thank you so much for sharing:)

  3. Thanks for these recommendations! I travel a lot for work, so having some go-to snacks that won’t totally derail my nutrition is awesome.
P.S. I’m OBSESSED with Perfect Bars. The coconut almond?! Perfection.

  4. There are so many awesome snacks at CVS! I need to check this out ASAP! Usually we go to Walgreens because that’s where we fill prescriptions…but I may have to switch 🙂
    Thanks for sharing!

  5. I am loving that so many quick stop places are getting more and more healthy options for when you’re driving around and need to grab something quick. I love picking up RxBars or larabars or a clean, unsalted trail mix with nuts and dried fruit.

  6. Maybe I am missing it, but I’m having trouble using the search function on your site. I see it at the top right but when I click on it, it brings the right side bar out but nothing comes up on it. I don’t see anywhere to then type in your search??

    1. Oh, jeez, sorry about that. Somehow it got moved to the middle of the side bar – I just moved it to the top and it seems to be working now! 🙂

  7. Great blog sharing it contains lot of information which is very helpful for us this blog is very interesting and motivative also i like this blog and i really enjoyed it thanks for it.

  8. My favorite from this list are: Dark Chocolate Almond Perfect Bar, KRAVE Basil Citrus Turkey Jerky and Graze Veggie Protein Power! I would recommend them for my friends! I found your post from Pinterest! I’m also gonna pin this post on my Pinterest board my followers will love it. Thanks for sharing Tina!
