I’m in the final weeks of my Lose the Dough challenge, and if I want to look smokin’ hot for my 30th birthday, I need to step-it-up! So, I’ve decided to challenge myself to move before I snooze. Basically, a mini workout that I do every night before bed to tighten and tone my “trouble spots.” (Don’t ya just love that saying?!?)
Move Before You Snooze Challenge
- 3 minutes of alternating lunges
- 2 minutes of push-ups (modified, if needed)
- 2 minutes of tricep dips
- 2 minutes of crunches
- 1 minute plank
This workout only takes 10 minutes and it ends the day on a healthy note. I used to do a similar workout all of the time, but somehow, I let it fall by the wayside. My goal is to do this Move Before You Snooze workout every night from now until my 30th birthday on June 19th. (Hopefully, this healthy habit will stick, and I’ll continue to do it!)
I printed out a free online calendar to keep me on track and motivate me.
I tested out the workout last night and used the stopwatch (Clock application) on my iPhone to time each exercise. It worked great.

Breakfast
Breakfast was “the usual” this morning: oatmeal + iced coffee. My husband also loves this breakfast, so the two of us throw it together in a matter of minutes. I make the oats; he makes the iced coffees. We have it down to a science now! 😉
