• Ready to Eat My Arm

    May 13, 2010

I’m finally sitting down to lunch right now. It’s 4 o’clock and WAY past my lunchtime! I was about to eat my arm, I was so hungry! 8-O

Anyway, onto my May check-in for Lose the Dough!

    Lose the Dough

I made a little progress this month– not a lot, but still progress. I guess all of those desserts didn’t do too much damage! ;-)

    • Weight: 131.4 pounds
    • Body Fat: 21.2%
    • BMI: 22.2

We forgot to take measurements again, but here’s a photo comparison from January to May. My body definitely looks different! Maybe my measurements changed a little bit?

(I look like such a turd in these photos!)

Ok, so, I’m holding pretty steady with my progress. Again, I don’t really have any set numbers in mind, I just want to tone up and feel good about myself… and I’m definitely getting there! I think a few more tweeks in my eating habits this month will help me feel more confident. I’m already happy with my “scary” Body Pump muscles! ;-)

Mid-morning, I headed downtown to Healthworks to have my May check-in and take a Gravity class. After showering up, I had about 15 minutes to kill before my appointment with the dietitian, so I relaxed on a bench on Copley Square and munched on an apple. What a beautiful day! :-D

My appointment with the dietitian was AWESOME! It was so much better than I expected. I’m going to write a full recap tomorrow morning. I feel like I have a lot to say!

I was seconds away from eating my arm, so I threw together the quickest lunch ever! I had a salad with romaine lettuce, grape tomatoes, carrots, BBQ-flavored KooLoos, and a hard-boiled egg.

On the side, I had a toasted Sandwich Thin with melted mozzarella.

To drink, I enjoyed some amazing ChocoMint iced tea with a splash of almond milk. Can you say YUM?!! The iced tea was light and refreshing with a sweet chocolate and peppermint flavor.

    VinoVoyage tonight!!! Wahoo!

Your pics are awesome, great job! Also lunch looked delicious. Never heard of those BBQ-flavored KooLoos before. Where can you purchase those?

Is it odd that I actually feel a bit more excited about your birthday than my own, which is also in May? I’d always rather celebrate other people than myself, though…

    Congrats on the progress!

You look fine in your pictures! As long as you feel great about yourself that’s all that matters. Looking forward to hearing about the meeting with the dietician.

I’m looking forward to hearing about the dietician appointment – in some ways a food blogger is like a nutritionists’ dream – you can see everything they eat.
    Looking great!

Tina -You look great, very toned! Do you mind me asking how tall you are? I’m going to guess about 5’5 :)
