Pure Bar Giveaway
Good morning! Let’s whiz through the oats so we can get to the good stuff! 
In the mix:
- 1/3 cup of dry oats
- 1 tbsp ground flaxseed meal
- 1/2 cup cinnamon Puffins (cooked in and on top)
- 1 cup water
- Raisins
- Walnuts
- 2 spoonfuls of peanut butter
Delish and very creamy!
Pure Bar Review
Let me start off by pointing out that my love for Larabars is enormous! I obviously eat them frequently and rave about them quite a lot. And, hoestly, I never thought a bar would rival their awesomeness… until now! PURE BARS give Larabars a run for their money! And because Larabars are so popular in the blogworld, I have decided to compare the two bars as part of my review.
The taste and texture of Pure Bars are a lot like Larabars– strong flavors of dried fruit (mostly dates) pervade the bar and the consistency is soft and chewy with subtle bites of crunch. The first Pure Bar that I tried was the Chocolate Chip Trailmix Bar, which had a nice combination of dates, apples, raisins, cashews, sunflower seeds, and almonds, which made the bar crunchy and chewy. Agave nectar adds to the sweetness. The only noticeable difference between Pure Bars and Larabars is the shape. While Larabars are long and narrow, Pure Bars are short and more compact. And the most important part of the review: Pure Bars are delicious!
An energy bar that is organic, raw, gluten-free and delightful! Made with fruit and nuts, it is amazingly chewy and sweet.
Even in a good-sized city like Boston, Pure Bars are a little tricky to find, so I am sure in other parts of the country (and world), they may even be more difficult to track down. But, never fear, Veronica at Pure Bar has offered to give away THREE prizes– each of which will be filled with a mixed box of Pure Bars, some coupons, and a cute chico bag. Lots of goodies!

Hello all! I would so much love to try these bars. I can’t imagine that if they are as good as the Larabars (which is limited to 3 flavors in my neck of the woods) that there could be a bad Pure bar. I would not be choosy in which one was sent to me but the Cranberry Orange sounds pretty darned good. I absolutely LOVE the Chocolate Brownie!!!! I usually buy Larabars whenever I see them because my college campus doesn’t sell any kind of healthy snack food but when I tasted the Pure Bar i temporarily forgot what a Larabar was. The taste is delicious and you would never guess its raw. I love it!!

Cherry cashew is really good- I usually don’t like cherry “flavored” things, but it doesn’t taste fake at all. There are 3 or 4 flavors available at my Hannaford, and I live in a small town, so never fear to those who might not have them nearby right now.

As a vegan, I find if difficult to find bars that I can eat (except for Larabars of course). But these pure bars look AMAZING. I’m especially excited about the choc chip trail mix flavor.

I’ve been wanting to try these guys for some time now! They all look so good, it’s so hard to decide what I’d most like to try. It’s a tossup between Chocolate Chip Trailmix and Wild Blueberry…but I guess I’d go with the blueberry.

HOLY COW !!!!!!!!!!! This BAR is out-of-sight !!!!!!!!!!! I’ve been Diabetic for 28 years and this snack is truly a blessing of the first degree! When my sugar runs low and my energy wanes I pop one into the furnace and, blam !!, … my blood sugar stays in the good range, and I have a surge of healthy energy to forge ahead with a long stint of exercise, or a long session of teaching. No cloudy mental stress anymore. I would go for the Cherry Cashew, but they’re all just great !!!!!!!!!!!!
