Chandra, Monica, and I spent the afternoonΒ as tourists in Harvard Square. We wandered around, explored points of interest, snapped photos of those points of interest, and spent way too much time window shopping in Anthropologie.
Of course, we had to visit Harvard Yard.Β I missΒ my old stomping grounds!
I said βΛhello’ to my old office window. It was bittersweet. Β
While at University Hall, Monica and Chandra gave John Harvard a littleΒ rub (on his foot).
After wandering around Harvard Yard for awhile, we popped into Crema CafΓΒ© for a beverage.
I ordered a very refreshing Moroccan Mint iced tea.
After that, we headed to Tory Row for lunch where we met Jayne, the company’s Events and Communications Manager, who treated us to an informal blogger lunch.
I started with a Shipyard Ale.
As an appetizer, theΒ four of us sharedΒ a cheese plate.
For my meal, I ordered the Bacon Flatbread, which I absolutely loved the last night I ate at Tory Row. It hasΒ smoked bacon, Vermont white cheddar, baby spinach, and Bermuda onion on it. So yum!
In fact, I raved about this flatbread pizza so much, a quote from my blog ended up next to the menu outside the restaurant!
After lunch, we stolled along the Charles and caught up.
MarTINAs are on the agenda next!

I’d absolutely love to visit that campus!! Not only is it historical but it’s gorgeous to boot.
Oh no! Don’t touch the foot. Student urinate on it all of the time. The admission office even warns visitors not to do it.
I LOVE bacon on pizza…..or on just about anything:)
There were so many people in that cafe! Is that normal?
Looks like a nice afternoon. I love Boston but it looks so bleak this time of year! π
