Tonight was bitter sweet. Sweet because I got to spend time with friends, but bitter because they’re all moving away in the next few months. š
Back in the day, we had a little group that hung out every other week or so. We’d get together for dinner, Stump Trivia, or just a couple of beers at our local watering hole. It’s sad to think that tonight was likely our last meeting. Well, at least for awhile. š
Even still, tonight was a fun night with friends.
To start, I enjoyed a couple of pumpkin spice beers, each with a delicious cinnamon-sugar rim. Mmm! So good! š
Ok, I’m completely obsessed with this drink.
M & T! š
Jen & Blain! š
For dinner, I ordered the Buffalo Chicken Pizza (obviously).
The crew!!!
Awww, I had such a nice time tonight. I’m going to miss these guys!
Good night, bloggies! š

Buffalo chicken pizza is the best!
Cinnamon sugar-rimmed beer?? YUM!!
That pizza looks amazing! I want to try and whip one up at home – I adore buffalo sauce! I even made a buffalo chicken soup once by adding Frank’s red hot to a pot of chicken broth, chicken, celery, onion, and carrots. It turned out fantastic š
I love the idea of a cinnamon/sugar rimmed beer! Yum!
It is so sad to see friends go — but now you get to go and visit them for mini vacations. Those are always fun š
I don’t even like beer but the cinnamon/sugar rim makes me think twice….almost. š
It’s sad to see friends move. But you can go visit them when they are settled.
Buffalo chicken pizza is soooo good!
Aww that is sad.
My very best friend may be moving to Boston in a month and I’ll be stuck in Cali by myself =(
Mmm I love pumpkin beers with the cinnamon spice rim!
Oh WOW! I have to try pumpkin spice beer with a sugar rim. That looks incredible!
But at least the buffalo pizza will still be there, right? š
That’s a brilliant idea. I want to do that to my beer!
I am jealous. First, I LOVE buffalo chicken pizza and second, that pumpkin beer with the cinnamon and sugar rim just sounds too delicious. I am going to have to try that at home this weekend.
I am pretty much the close friend who moved away from everyone–it sucks!!

At least you still have a few months to spend with them š
Sorry your friends are moving away:( That is bitter sweet….
Love the idea of that beer though:)
i’ve had a lot of friends move away lately. so sad! as boyz II men sang, “it’s so hard to say goodbye…” the muppets said it too in “muppets take manhattan” – i’m such a dork….
that is my favorite pizza ever. i am now obsessed with that drink too… i’ve never even heard of that!
leaving friends is always tough. My sister and her husband and baby just moved several states away and it’s still really tough. š I’m hoping it gets easier with time!
i feel like so many of our friends have moved away over the past couple of years and that is always hard… looks like you had a great night, though!
It’s so sad when old friends move away. š It’s nice that you had a nice dinner together before they move!
Aw Tina, that is sad. I hate it when my friends move away. Looks like a nice time with friends last night!
I love the sugared rim- such a good addition to pumpkin beer! The great thing about blogging is that at least you’ll have a lot of old posts and pictures to remember your friends by!
I am also obsessed with pumpkin beer – especially Southern Tier Pumpking, which I keep on being told is sold out throughout the city! I’m stocking up if I can find it in a liquor store ;). I haven’t seen the cinnamon-sugar rim, but I like the sound of it!
I love love love pumpkin ale with a cinnamon sugar rim! It’s my favorite fall beverage. š
I hate when friends and family leave – its so bittersweet. As happy as you are for them, you can’t help but feel sad that they are moving. But at least you got one last night out with them – and it looks like you had a blast. That beer looks really tasty!
I just recently tried the cinnamon sugar rim on pumpkin beer. Totally punches up the flavor. Delicious! It’s only 9am but I’m already craving a beer š
Saying good bye is so hard. Good thing you have your blog so they can see what is going on in your world daily. I dont’ drink beer, but if I did, I’d order 32 of those! Yum!
Yum! Pumpkin beer!
Tina what is your favorite brand of Pumpkin Spice beer? I love them, and have tried a couple lately that just didn’t quite fit the bill. What’s your go-to pumpkin beer these days?
You are a girl after my own heart with that Buffalo Chicken Pizza! Did you know Digiorno makes a frozen one that is sooooo good? I know you make your own home-made delicious pizzas, but everyone has their days when they don’t feel like cooking! š
Looks like a fun night! Check out my recipe for CARROT CAKE SALAD on my BLOG! Best salad ever!
@Running In The Delta: I pretty much like them all, but Shipyard Pumpkin is my favorite.
OK, so trying the beer with a cinnamon sugar rim is a must….I am fascinated!
I know the feeling all to well š
