Life’s Short”¦

Mastermind Weekend 1/16

Hey there!

I'm Tina

I’m the owner of Carrots ‘N’ Cake as well as a Certified Nutrition Coach and Functional Diagnostic Nutrition Practitioner (FDN-P). I use macros and functional nutrition to help women find balance within their diets while achieving their body composition goals.

An in-depth, 4-week reverse dieting course for women who feel like their metabolism has slowed down, think they might have hormonal imbalance and can’t lose weight no matter what they do.

Good morning! Happy Monday!

My day started off with the creamiest bowl of oatmeal ever. I honestly can’t remember a bowl of oatmeal like this one in a long time.

In the mix:

  • 1 banana
  • 1/3 cup rolled oats
  • 1/3 cup liquid egg whites
  • 1/3 cup almond milk
  • 1/3 cup water
  • 1 tbsp ground flaxseed meal

I added all of the ingredients to a pot on the stovetop, and then cooked (and stirred) it until it was warm and creamy.

And, of course, breakfast included a glass of iced coffee with soy milk.

What is your “life’s short”¦” motto?

  1. Love your Blog!!! Thanks so much for the inspiration. I have been trying to make oatmeal very similar to your recipe here. How did you cook it?

  2. I have wanted to try egg whites and oats for a very long time. I finally did it this morning, your recipe is awesome! It’s very creamy but you still get texture in the oats which is the way I like it!

  3. i just started reading and enjoying your blog…
i love love love oatmeal and finally had the time to make your oatmeal this morning (i usually do overnight oats) and WOW. delish and super filling! can’t wait to make again!!

  4. This oatmeal really is SUPER creamy! This was my first time adding liquid egg whites to my oats – why didn’t I try this sooner?? I enjoyed the oats in a nearly empty white chocolate wonderful pb jar and it was heavenly!
