It’s family dinner night at the Haupert household!
This evening, Mal and I invited Dave, Marie, and Blain over forΒ Macaroni and Cheese with Cauliflower, which is one of my favorite pasta recipes ever.
We also had salad with dinner.
Mmm… mac & cheese!
I topped my salad with Annie’s Goddess dressing.
I loved the mac & cheese so much, I went back for seconds.
Marie brought dessert! Hooray!!
I ate two! π
Murphy also enjoyed a delicious dinner… well, technically, an afternoon snack! π
This dog has a weird obsession with rawhide.
He’d chew it day and night if we’d let him.
My happy, full stomach is heading straight to bed.
Good night! π

I love Murphy pics! Toooo cute!
I am going to have to give that Mac and Cheese with Cauliflower recipe a go once it cools down and I want to turn my oven on again:P
Hahaha..my dog is so protective of her bones too! She tries to actually hold them with her paws! It’s cute!
Hey Tina, I was just about to warn you that I saw a segment on the news about a girl attacked while running in Quincy but I just read Chris’s comment… I sure hope that woman wasn’t you!? Scary stuff but I hope it doesn’t deter your training- more motivation to make Mal run with you! I’m from Milton so this hit home for me too!
Fun! I love mac and cheese too…we also had it for dinner last night π
I think cauliflower is my first memory, I remember that being the only thing I absolutely refused to eat when I was little, so I have never in my adult life even given it another chance! This looks amazing though, so I think I will have to try it out soon. The cauliflower looks disguised in the cheese so maybe I’ll be able to get my fiance to eat some too.
I never had proper mac and cheese. I would so want to try it π
I find it so cute when puppies and kitties are so immersed in chewing their food and bones, adorable π
Mmm…peanut butter kiss cookies. I only eat those at Christmastime but they’re so good!
Dinner looked so good – can I come over? LOL! π
those are one of my favorite cookies. The mac and cheese looks great! Have you tried it with different cheeses?
That mac & cheese looks awesome!
I made a dinner with cauliflower last night as well! I made a pizza with a cauliflower crust and it was amazing! What a versitile veggie!
Firstly, that macaroni looks delicious! I’m going to have to try that. And secondly, your dog is the cutest. I’m desperate to own a pug! One day, one day. π
I love dinner with friends! That mac and cheese looks so good π
Yummy mac and cheese! That’s a great recipe idea. I remember seeing it here a while ago and thinking I have to try it out… this is a good reminder. Looks like a reliable winner π
That mac and cheese looks so delicious every time you post it on here! I think I finally have to make it myself π
I am totally a frosting girl- screw the cake!
Your dinner looks so delicious! I’ve never tried mac and cheese with cauliflower.. think I need to get on that.
P.S. Murphy is ADORABLE.
Ok, this is going down as THE weirdest comment in history…
I only just recently learned about this myself, and I thought I’d pass it along since some of your readers seem to have questions about rawhide. Rawhide is the skin of an animal, usually cow (basically leather). Typically it’s treated with a lot of chemicals, including formaldehyde. Most dogs have a hard time digesting rawhide and most vets will tell you that it’s not good for them, and not in a “too many cookies” sort of way. I’ve heard that it strips their digestive system. I know my dog gets very sick when she eats it.
A really good alternative is something called a “bully stick.” These are skinny, very hard long sticks that are usually a bit more expensive than rawhide, and sold in the same section. They are made from (cover your ears children and vegetarians) dried bull penis. The organ tissue is actually much easier for dogs to digest, it is not treated with chemicals and it’s actually pretty nutritious!
Just a weird little fyi for all the dog owners out there π
my dog loves his treat bones, too!
