It’s Family Dinner Night!

Mastermind Weekend 1/16

Hey there!

I'm Tina

I’m the owner of Carrots ‘N’ Cake as well as a Certified Nutrition Coach and Functional Diagnostic Nutrition Practitioner (FDN-P). I use macros and functional nutrition to help women find balance within their diets while achieving their body composition goals.

An in-depth, 4-week reverse dieting course for women who feel like their metabolism has slowed down, think they might have hormonal imbalance and can’t lose weight no matter what they do.

It’s family dinner night at the Haupert household!

This evening, Mal and I invited Dave, Marie, and Blain over for Macaroni and Cheese with Cauliflower, which is one of my favorite pasta recipes ever.

We also had salad with dinner.

Mmm… mac & cheese!

I topped my salad with Annie’s Goddess dressing.

I loved the mac & cheese so much, I went back for seconds.

Marie brought dessert! Hooray!!

I ate two! 😉

Murphy also enjoyed a delicious dinner… well, technically, an afternoon snack! 😉

This dog has a weird obsession with rawhide.

He’d chew it day and night if we’d let him.

My happy, full stomach is heading straight to bed.

Good night! 😀

  1. Yum! It was definitely a good night for comfort food — chilly and rainy here! We had stuffed portobellos and roasted sweet potato.

  2. @Tina: Love adding cauliflower to dishes because you so often can’t taste it but it adds to much nutrition. Especially great substitute for potatoes!

  3. So happy to have finally discovered you blog, why did it take me so long!?! I am a fellow Boston girl and I appreciate all of your local restaurant guides. Your training for TNT is inspiring me to start my own training program for a 10k and possibly a half marathon! Thanks for all the great posts!!!

  4. omg i just saw you on tv (channel 7) – so random!!!! hope they catch that freak!
    mac&cheese is the best dinner

  5. Just saw you on Channel 7 – I hope they catch that guy. I used to live in N. Quincy and always thought it was safe. Can’t wait to try the mac & cheese. I *love* the Ellie Krieger recipe with winter squash. AWESOME. Love reading your blog!!

  6. I clicked on your link to your previous mac n cheese post to get the recipe and saw that there was Dijon in it..what a GREAT idea! That’s a way to give it some punch so it’s not overly milky. I’m definitely going to incorporate it next time I make my own mac n cheese…thanks!

  7. Yum! I think I made that recipe a few months ago after seeing it on your was great!

And those of my faves! Have a good night!

  8. Tina the macaroni recipe looks fabulous and something my family would enjoy while sneaking in some cauliflower. Presentation looked fabulous! Gotta love those cookies – one of my all time favorites! Can’t turn down a guests dessert. Thanks for always posting such amazing dishes!

  9. I think we have the same dog. Although the rawhide appears much smaller compared to my “shep-orgi” (white german shepherd / corgi) than little pug, Murphy!

  10. Hi Tina- Saw you last night on news at 10! You looked great..:) Hope they catch the guy…
    Good luck with training..
