Remember when Sabrina and I visited the Women’s Day offices?
Well, the magazine that we’re holding in the photo includes a yummy recipe for Corn Fritters. The fritters are made with corn and cornbread mix, and tasted delicious with a drizzle of maple syrup on top. Mmm!
The Women’s Day photo looks a lot prettier than mine, but you get the idea, right? 😉
I also enjoyed some cinnamon iced coffee with soy milk with breakfast.
Look who is passed out on my lap(top) right now! 😆
VinoVoyage III
Wahoo!! VinoVoyage III is next week!!! If you’d like to attend, there are still tickets available. Here’s my recap of VinoVoyage II. It was awesome!

I have a subscription to O Magazine and also Self magazine. Recently I’ve been gifted BRIDE magazine for my upcoming wedding.
I want to try to make the corn fritters
I love Self, and Marie Claire, because it’s not all full of “fluff!”
I love Marie Claire and Woman’s day for recipes. Oxygen is also good for workout ideas and recipes.
Your pancakes look Delicious and I’m going to try and make them tomorrow. 🙂
I enjoy Shape, Self, Glamour, Women’s Fitness and the rare celebrity gossip 😉
Ok, that picture of Murphy is toooooo cute!
Ooh, those corn fritters look good. I have no idea what’s in them and can’t really imagine what they taste like but anything that looks like pancaskes can’t be bad!
I love reading magazines while I work out. I’m a little obsessed! lol
Marie Claire, Self, Shape, Woman’s Health, Men’s Health, Elle, People, Glamour, Cosmo, Woman’s Day, Ladies Home Journal, Good Housekeeping, Redbook, Fitness, I’m probably forgetting a couple….
Sunset Magazine is my favorite. It’s a Southwest travel, food, and leisure mag. I adore the writing, the pictures, the info, the tips. Such a well-written magazine.
Hey, the corn fritters still look good to me! My favorite magazine is definitely Glamour, but I also like Women’s Health and Real Simple. And I just got a free subscription to Harper’s Bazaar so I guess I’ll be reading that too for the next 12 months, haha.
That looks good!! I just made polenta pancakes (which I imagine has a similar taste). Anyhoo, I love Health magazine. I read it cover to cover. I like Vogue, too, though. The ads are my favorite part in that 😀
Vogue, Bazaar, Elle and Marie Claire. PS-We love you Murphy!!
oooh that voyage sounds so much fun! I cant believe it has been a year already!
I secretly love O magazine. And Oprah herself, although i think she focuses on weight loss and negative body image a bit too much.
I love Glamour and Newsweek!
Honestly I have never really read Woman’s Day but those corn fritters look very good!
Oh Murphy you are always so cute.
I used to get Self, Fitness, and Shape but cancelled all of them. All they do is focus on weight loss and it’s the same thing, month in, month out. It’s gets boring after awhile! Any suggestions for a healthy living mag that isn’t focused on weight loss??
i’ve never really used magazines for recipes but i might now.
i’m obsessed with corn right now
Ohhh, but we don’t have cornbread mix in Australia!! What am I supposed to do, make this from scratch?! 😛
I love Woman’s Day mag!! How do you always get hooked up with so many fun gigs?! You rock!
I am a magazine junkie – the typefaces, the graphic illustrations, collages of must-have items based on colors.. I love it. I have subscriptions to Shape, Glamour, and Marie Claire, but I’d like to re-add Health and start one for Fitness… Oh, and definitley Real Simple. I love the RS website for tips!! Subscrptions are so cheap, but sometimes I still grab a magazine in the checkout line – I love them that much… They’re like little anti-depressents.
