Crazy Cravings

October 8, 2010

Today’s lunch included a little bit of this and a little bit of that. I had some crazy cravings for a bunch of different foods, so I just went with it. I had a fried egg, kiwi, apple & sweet potato yogurt, spinach with olive oil and Garlic Gold, and chocolate chip cookies. Random, right?

My lunch was definitely a random mix of foods, but it satisfied me on a number of levels.

A little while later, I enjoyed a Carrot Cake Larabar. Holy delicious! I can’t believe that forgot I had this flavor in the pantry!

I always get the most random cravings too! I totally gross people out with the combinations of food that I eat- recently it was tacos and cereal. The expression of disgust on my grandpa’s face was priceless. Love the cute little pumpkin on your placemat :) Thanks for sharing about Seven Hopes United – they have so many cute things, and buying them supports an amazing cause- even better!

Hi Tina, Just saw the article in Marie Claire and I must say that I have to wonder if the author has ever even looked at your blog! The content was totally off base and I’m shocked to see a national magazine put down a bona fide, modern day source of communication.
I am a transplanted Bostonian living in Florida, 50+-advanced degree, earning well and I am very much into food and fitness. I love your blog and read it daily! I admire you and the many other young women who a blazing a path in this genre! Keep up the great work! And don’t sweat the haters. I predict blogs will far out line Marie Claire magazine.
