Waiting Game

August 20, 2010

Ahhh, we made an offer on a house!!!

It’s crazy and exciting, but it feel so right this time! :-D

The first time that we almost bought a house, I felt anxious and unsure of our decision. But, this time, the experience was a lot more fun. Looking at houses was carefree and exciting, and Mal and I were completely at ease and confident when we signed the offer this afternoon. Now, we’re just antsy to hear back!

The seller has until Monday evening to give us an answer, so now we have a little waiting game on our hands. (I’m trying not to think about it too much! ;-) )

Snack

When we got home, I snacked on some dried pineapple and ate about half of the bag.

Dinner

For dinner, I made pizza on naan with pepperoni and broccoli on top.

On the side, I had a big ol’ salad with roasted broccoli and Goddess dressing.

Pizza + salad is one of my favorite meals ever. Seriously.

Mal and I ate dinner in front of the TV while catching up with Jersey Shore, which is so freakin’ funny. Those people are out of control!

IMG_0022.JPG

For dessert, I enjoyed a S’mores Luna bar and a dark chocolate Adora disk. I’m having some major chocolate cravings this evening!

Mal and I have our first run with our TNT team tomorrow. I’m excited to meet everyone!

Heading to bed early. Good night! :-D

How exciting! It is nerve wracking buying the first home. My husband and I will be in the same waiting game this weekend–we put in an offer on a plot of land and now have to wait and see if the owner is willing to sell.

Good luck!

YUM I love homemade pizza dinners! I made a rockin’ taco pizza earlier this week…seasoning the crust is key! LOL Jersey Shore is so ridiculous, but I love it! I hope you get the house! Congrats :D

Congratulations! I know when I bought my house I did not understand some of the paperwork and they basically said, sign it or you do not get the house. Thank goodness I was working with great people. I cannot wait to hear the good news.

Good luck with the house! Waiting is terrible – though I’ve never done it on a house purchase. My husband and I are waiting to hear if he gets an offer for a job he just interviewed for and we are hoping to hear Monday as well. Fingers crossed for all of us =)

Good luck on the house – and please don’t think that everyone in Jersey is like the folks in the Jersey Shore or Housewives of NJ or Jersey Couture or Jersicilous (sp?) – shoot, the evidence is stacking up against me….

I just found your blog about a week ago, and I’ve been going through as many posts as I can here and at Trading Up, you have som much great information and love the way you write, feel like I’m catching up with an old friend :)
I wanted to tell you I just tried the overnigh oats and they are amazing! it puzzled me since I saw your first post mentioning them, and then post after post where I saw them they looked more appealing, I was a bit afraid something not good would come out but finally last night I set them out in my frigde overnight and this morning I could not wait to taste and they are amazing! you’ve just given me a new favorite breakfast! love it! thank you!
and I also want to say, best of luck with the house! how exciting!
