Tea for You

February 25, 2010

Good morning, bloggies!

It’s a cold, rainy morning here, so it was tough getting out of bed at 5 AM to write. I really wanted to stay in bed, under the covers, and cuddle with my husband and my pup, but my unfinished first draft was calling my name. Word by word.

Breakfast

About an hour after waking, it was time for breakfast. I made a wonderful batch of blueberry-walnut oats, topped with a big scoop of Barney Butter.

In the mix:

  • 1/2 cup old-fashioned oats
  • 1/2 cup almond milk
  • 1/2 cup water
  • Frozen blueberries
  • Walnuts
  • Chia seeds
  • Barney Butter

IMG_6127.JPG

The Barney Butter got all melty and wonderful from the heat of the oats. Mmm! So good!

And, as always, I enjoyed a glass of iced coffee with vanilla soy milk with breakfast. I actually wanted hot coffee this morning, but I was too lazy to put on a fresh pot.

Tea is a total vice of mine, so needless to say I had a blast searching the sight and reading the descriptions of teas.
I deal with a lot of stress and tea totally helps:
1.Perfect World Tea
2.Well since I am a green tea addict, Dragon Phoenix Pearls
3. Emperor’s 7 Treasures
4. Well the Magic Tea Filter is insane and a definite must try!

Thank you!

Oooh.. the Sensha Orange Passion looks wonderful! I have this thing for “orange”" teas that stems from my childhood and a “Russian Tea” mix my mother would make in a big pot. The mix had “Tang” as a part of it, LOL, strange, but so delish!
