Cheesy Baked Shells and Broccoli

February 15, 2009

I’m very lucky to have Mr. Mal in my life! And, he knows the way to my heart is through my stomach! ;-)

I had planned to cook dinner for Mal and me tonight, but while I was at the gym, Mal started making dinner for the two of us. While he cooked, we chatted and enjoyed a couple of POM + soda with lemon beverages.

On tonight’s menu: Cheesy Baked Shell and Broccoli from Real Simple

The only alterations made to the recipe were substituting farfalle pasta for the shells and low-fat Jarlsberg for the cheddar/Gruyere.

The Jarlsberg was an excellent cheese substitution. It was strong-tasting and melted wonderfully.

Mal did a great job with this recipe! I even went back for a second serving! ;-)

Movie time! Enjoy the evening, guys!

I’ve had the Nike+ system for years now and I have to admit that it’s what keeps me running!!! I love it!

I used to hate just running aimlessly but something about the interactivity of Nike+ makes me want to keep going! :)

@TorontoGirloutWest: LOL Okay I’m totally laughing at myself ’cause I’m SO embarrassed! I had another bloggies post open to comment on the Nike + system. Somehow I clicked on the wrong one and commented on yours. And you have nothing about Nike+ on yours.

Oh man . . . embarrassing!!!
