Local readers: Here’s your chance to win two tickets to Whole Food’s annual Do Something Reel Film Festival!
This year’s film festival kicks off with a live screening of “The Apple Pushers” in five cities across the country, including a screening at Regal Fenway Stadium 13 in Boston on April 22 (Earth Day), which will benefit The Food Project. Following the screening, a panel with the film’s writer and director, Mary Mazzio; executive producer, Laurie Tisch; and celebrity chef Michel Nischan, will be live-streamed for free from Austin. Debi Mazar, “Entourage” and Cooking Channel’s “Extra Virgin” star, will host the discussion.
To enter to win two tickets to the screening on April 22 at Regal Fenway Stadium 13 in Boston, just leave a comment on this post about why you’d like to attend. I’ll randomly pick a winner in the morning.
Good luck!

I would love to attend! I have such an interest in nutrition and my best friend works for Project Bread so I’d love to take her!
I’ve got a husband currently on crutches and its killing him. He’s super health conscious so this would be perfect for him. We could both use a crutch-friendly day out too 🙂

I would absolutely love to attend this. First, any reason to get me back in Boston and second because I fully believe in Whole Foods initiative to spread the word about sustained healthy real food. What a great event!

I would love to the Do Something Reel Film Festival and the screening of the Apple Pushers because the film looks very interesting about how five streetcart vendors are trying to make a difference. And, it would be a great way to celebrate Earth Day!
This looks awesome! Plus I’ve lived in the Boston area for 4 months now and I haven’t had a chance to do anything cool!
I’d love to go! Aside from being a Whole Food-ie, my husband and I are always looking for unexpected and fun date nights! This qualifies 🙂

My BF and I love watching food documentaries and have found they have made positive impacts on our nutrition the past couple of years. I also live in the fenway area so it would be a fun date night out for us!

I am from Asheville NC, where we are always trying to do organic and natural foods and now that I am in Boston I try to continue the practices. Naturally any movies that can be educational and eye opening would be amazing to see. I would love to go to this!
I’d love to win these tickets! I am a former health teacher and my boyfriend has volunteered with the food project here in Boston. I know we’d both love the movie and conversation, too. Thanks!
Btw…I ran the cohasset race last year and loved it too! So beautiful!

I live right near fenway and would love to attend! I love that the theater is opening up for something other than next crappy blockbuster – very cool!
I would really like to attend this film! I am a local spinning instructor in the Boston area. I believe that the key to seeing a country wide shift towards more healthy eating is education and access. Events like this, especially films, are excellent ways to effectively spread information to communities of people.
Alas, I have stumbled upon this post too late!
I should be picked retroactively as I have never been to Boston, would love to visit, and am currently courting a vegetarian who would probably get quite a kick out of the experience.
(Can’t blame a guy for trying, right?)
