This is how I felt waking up at 5:45 to run this morning:
Thankfully, my running buddies were a lot more motivated.
Monica, Theodora, and I ran 6 miles along the waterfront. The weather and scenery were absolutely gorgeous, so within minutes, I was so glad that I didn’t skip our run together. You never regret a workout!
Once we finished, Theodora and I took a pit-stop at Starbucks for iced coffees. I swear, the thought of iced coffee always seems to get me through long runs.
We returned to the hotel and headed straight to breakfast! Hi, Brittany!
There were lots of options for breakfast, but I took advantage of the oatmeal bar. I loaded up my bowl with mixed nuts and fresh berries.
Bananas are confusing fruits.

Love your motivation! 5:45 is *early*. But it makes the rest of the day feel absolutely wonderful. 😀
Love the headband…i have to find one like it! That view would be a pretty motivating reason to run too! Cheers!
Yumo headband.
@Heather: Totally yumo!
@Tina: Test.
@Heather: Did it work!?!
Yay glad you completed the run! I am putting off my run right now…maybe I should motivate myself with iced coffee?
I can tell it’s a great breakfast bar. you always know when there’s tons of berries and fruit in general 🙂 have a beautiful day!
What a great area to run! Gorgeous! It’s so true that you never regret a workout.
I love your Bondi Band!! And I love the “you’ll never regret a workout” quote.
I love that I saw you guys FINISHING your run, as I set out for my own! You guys are hardcoreeee!
Ha ha ha! I TOTALLY have the same headband! I wore it in a race last weekend while I was pushing my twins in a stroller. Love it!
My roommates and I were in the elevator with you and Theodora when you on your way back from your run with iced coffees in hand. Sorry I didn’t formally introduce myself – there’s no un-awkward way to do that in that situation! I had to admit I was quite impressed that you all got in a long run so early in the day and I barely had my eyes open!
