Good morning! Happy Monday, friends! How was your weekend?

Our weekend was super low-key, but totally fine with us because we have a lot of adventures coming up, including Disney on Ice and a trip to Scottsdale with the whole Haupert clan. It’s been about 1.5 years since we last flew with Quinn, so, hopefully, things will go more smoothly this time. (I still think we’re scarred from that flight!) If you’re flying with a tiny human soon, here are some tips and advice from our cross-country flights: Baby on Board: Trips for Flying with an Infant and Staying Healthy & Sane with a Toddler on a 6-Hour Flight.

It was rainy and cold yesterday morning, and Mal let me sleep in, so we didn’t get moving until mid-morning. We had some errands to run on our To Do list, so we hit up our favorite cafe for some drinks and snacks to sustain us.

Lucky Finn is the cutest place, and I swear it just gets better and better every time we visit. I ordered a salted caramel latte made with cashew milk, and, my gosh, it was incredible. In fact, I seriously debated ordering another one!

We also shared an almond croissant, and Quinn enjoyed a macaroon with sprinkles – one of his favorite treats!

We played Go Fish and Tic-Tac-Toe, which were both a big hit with Qman. I actually bought a travel tic-tac-toe set for the airplane, so I’m glad he was so into it at the cafe!

While at Lucky Finn, we talked about how both Mumma and Dada had orange cats as pets when they were growing up. Quinn wanted to see a photo of the cats on our cell phones, but I told him we’d have to wait until we got home because we didn’t have any. He seemed really confused and actually got kind of upset because we’re always showing him photos on our phones.

It’s funny to think that photos from our childhood aren’t as easily accessible as his will be. It was definitely a “whoa, I’m old moment” for Mal and me. The majority of our photos are in albums and shoe boxes or on thumdrives and DVDs for the more recent stuff. Of course, when we got home, I dug out a photo of Corey (my orange cat) and me before my sophomore year Cotillion to show him. (My sister is laying back in a bean bag because she didn’t want to be in the photo. Haha!) Quinn was only semi-impressed. Ha!

Question of the Day
