We still haven’t built our new Ikea table for our dining area yet, so I’ve been using the stairs to the loft to take photos of my meals. Murphy didn’t understand what the heck I was doing this morning! (He’s so adorable! 😀 )

For breakfast, I had a half of a Joseph’s pita stuffed with peanut butter and banana slices. I actually wasn’t that hungry this morning after stuffing myself with pumpkin risotto last night. 😕

My curious puppy loves peanut butter!

I also had a glass of the most delicious French press iced coffee. I made hot coffee in a French press yesterday morning, but I only drank a mug full, so I decided to chill the rest in the refrigerator. The flavor is so bold and intense, it works great as iced coffee.

I threw in a kiwi for later just in case I get hungry mid-morning. I’m not sure how a light-ish breakfast will go over with my stomach! It likes BIG breakfasts!

Feel Great Weight

New FGW post on Health: Want to Drop a Dress Size? Clean Up Your Kitchen.

Even though I had the Move from Hell last weekend, it was nice to be able to turn over a new leaf and set up my kitchen in an aesthetically pleasing and organized way.

New Read: Insatiable

The nice PR people at Peguin recently sent me novel, called Insatiable: A Young Mother’s Struggle with Anorexia. I started reading it on Monday during my commute and it’s been a great read so far. It’s very real and raw.

Insatiable

At twenty-four, Erica Rivera appeared to have it all: a B.A., two daughters, a successful husband, a house in the suburbs-and a great body. But under the surface, Erica was struggling with an addiction. She developed a self- destructive obsession with dieting, bingeing, purging, exercising, and, ultimately, anorexia. It wasn’t until her very young daughters began to imitate her actions that she decided to get help-and to trace her disordered eating and body-image patterns across three generations of women in her family.

Insatiable is the raw, candid, and ultimately uplifting story of one woman’s plunge into the depths of addiction and her fragile fight to climb back out. Getting to the root of her own problems helped her show her own daughters where happiness truly lies: in loving oneself. Though her road to recovery has not been easy, Erica Rivera is reassuring in her honesty-and inspirational in her triumph.

Question of the Day

What are you reading right now?

I’m always looking for new reads! And I’m sure other readers will appreciate the recommendations. Please share! 😀

I’m off to physical therapy this morning. Session #4. I don’t want to jinx it, but my hip is getting better! Wahoo! Let’s hope the progress keeps up!

Have a great Hump Day! 😎
