Hello! Good morning and happy Friday to you!

Thank you for all of your wonderful feedback on my CNC blog survey. It was really helpful reading your responses and they gave me lots of great ideas for moving forward with CNC. As always, you guys are the best and thank you for supporting me and this little blog!

A ton of you guys said you enjoyed my What I’m Loving Lately posts, so here’s another one to add to the collection!

Fa La La Wine Glasses – How adorable are these wine glasses? I love them. And these Celebrate! Champagne Flutes are pretty awesome too””and perfect for a New Year’s celebration!

Fa La La Wine Glass (Set of 4)

Scrapbook Ornament – I love this idea for a new baby! I am totally making one for Quinn!

Thought this was interesting: 2015’s Hottest Fitness and Wellness Trends

Michael Strahan – I watch LIVE with Kelly and Michael pretty much every morning, and Michael Strahan totally cracks me up. He seems like such a cool guy. I would love to meet him. I feel like he’d be a blast to hang out with!

This post: Why Food and Exercise Shouldn’t Touch <— I agree with every word of this!

How to Degerm a Hotel Room – Truthfully, I’m not much of a germaphobe, but it was an interesting article!

RapidLash – I already mentioned RapidLash in another blog post, but it’s worth another mention because it’s awesome, affordable, and really works. I wish I had taken a before and after photo of my lashes””they were really stumpy””but now I actually have eyelashes! In the picture below, I’m wearing eyeliner, but not mascara and my lashes look pretty long, right? Hey, I’m happy with the results!

6 Ways to Test Your Baby’s Development <— We did a few of these with Quinn. It was fun!

Andes Crème De Menthe Cookies – I’m making these for Friendsgiving this weekend and they are my absolute favorite holiday cookie. I highly recommend them!

37 DIY Home Gifts That Only Look Expensive <— some really cool ideas!

Oliver server – I love the stuff from UncommonGoods (lots of unique gift ideas), and I saw this olive server and thought it was so neat. I love serving olives when we entertain, but I always think the chewed-up-spit-out pits are kind of gross to look at, so this server solves that problem!

Questions of the Day

What are you loving lately?

Are you blessed with long eyelashes?

What is your favorite holiday dish to make?

Do you like olives?

  1. What a perfectly written post on Food and Excercise. I completely agree, working out is not a punishment and should not be treated as such. Once in a spin class the instructor shouted, “you need to burn off that cheeseburger!!” I never went back. It was so UNmotivating to me. I was there to have fun not be punished. Oh, and I love olives!

  2. I am loving the perfect 70 degree weather we are having in Florida.
My eyelashes are decent length, but the aren’t very dark so I have to use mascara.
Olives are good. Add some cheese and crackers to the plate and we’ll call it a day!

  3. I totally forgot about uncommon goods. Thank you! Are you still looking for survey answers or are you good? Busy week for me!

  4. Love that post on not having exercise and food touch! Thanks for sharing. Glad to know I am not the only one who think the whole “exercise to negate certain foods” is not true, especially on rest days- are we all the sudden supposed to eat 500 calories less or gain weight?! Makes no sense.

  5. I am loving that ornament idea; how cool! O gosh, I use to work in hotels so I know all the ins and outs of the cleaning 🙁 I am totally guilty of a lot of those tips on de-germing a hotel room. I can’t help myself! I cringe when my fiancé just lies his toothbrush on the sink. I’m not a germophobe except when it comes to the room I lie my head down in!

  6. What are you loving lately? Peppermint mocha coffee creamer! I try not to buy those coffee creamers regularly but I always give in around the holidays because they’re so festive (and delicious). 🙂
Are you blessed with long eyelashes? Mine are fairly long, and regular mascara seems to do the trick.
What is your favorite holiday dish to make? Cookies! I made awesome smores cookies and brown butter snickerdoodles last year.
Do you like olives? <3 olives

  7. I love Uncommon Goods, but I wish they would occasionally offer sales!

Nope. Not reading the germ article about hotels. Not happening. Ignorance is bliss.

  8. Wow! Your eyelashes look great! I too suffer from stumpy eyelashes. How long have you been using it for to get results like that ? I am adding it to my Amazon cart as we speak!

  9. I’m loving Christmas decor! My husband and I finally decorated last night! 🙂

I have pretty long eyelashes, not as long as they were in high school though. Rapidlash sounds awesome! Does it irritate sensitive eyes?

  10. OMG that ornament idea is amazing! Thanks for sharing! I’m totally making a stop at the craft store later today 🙂 Oh and those wine glasses…I’ll be ordering them today ! adorable! Love these finds!

  11. Mmmm…olives! I’ve added Trader Joe’s olive tapenade to my regular appetizer rotation.
I had a dish of chocolate covered espresso beans out during a recent gathering – one party attendee thought they were olives.

  12. Thanks for sharing that awesome article on Lindsay’s List. Also, how long have you been using rapid lash? Thanks!

  13. Everyone on my dad’s side of the family has super long eyelashes. When I worked retail I noticed that this older customer kept staring at me. When I looked up and made eye contact she asked, “honey, are those eye lashes really yours?” I couldn’t help but crack up.

  14. That article rocks! You have to view exercise as something you enjoy not punishment for eating poorly. They go hand in hand. I have actually been blessed with really long eyelashes. People ask me all the time if they’re fake.

  15. Loved the article—thanks for sharing. The “I exercised XXX minutes so I can eat XXX” is an easy trap to fall into. And it’s dumb!
“there is nothing more JOYFUL than moving your body.” PREACH, Lindsay! Thanks for the reminder!

  16. Hi Tina! Okay, I need to get that lash serum, because I need help in that department. Have you ever had a Matcha Green Tea Latte at Starbucks? It’s not on the menu, but my favorite drink, and it just happened to make my list of Friday Favorites today. Have a good one!

  17. I usually just skim these posts and rarely click on the articles you post, but so many people said they loved them that I took a glance at the 2015 Top Trends and the Food & Exercise article. Both were awesome! I loved looking back at the 2014 trends and seeing how many of them were accurate and was definitely inspired to help others change the way they view exercise. Thanks 🙂

On a side note – I used to love my lashes, but I started using a waterproof mascara, which is almost too true to it’s name, and it’s started to pull out my lashes because of how much I have to work to get it off. Womp womp.

  18. I love olives. I do have naturally long eyelashes. I’m a natural blonde so they are pretty light but when I wear mascara, my favorite makeup tool, you can see how long they are. I am loving the Christmas season this year, thinking about everything I am excited for coming up next year, and the new location where we are living now.

  19. I do have very long eye lashes, which I love and people compliment me often on them. Wow, that sounds really vain, but I love my eye lashes, even though I can’t wear makeup anymore since I somehow became allergic to it…even tried clinique. I am loving Harney and sons hot cinnamon tea! It’s awesome!

  20. I am absolutely obsessed with Uncommon Goods, and didn’t know about it until this year. I’ve already bought three unique Christmas presents from there. Also, I feel the same way about Willie Geist (Today Show) that you do about Michael Strahan. 🙂

  21. Love the scrapbook ornament! What a great idea–instead of the items being stored away in boxes until the end of time, you get to see and enjoy them every year!
I’m loving The Terrible and Wonderful Reasons Why I Run Long Distances book. So hysterical!
My eyelashes are pretty long and that becomes a problem when I wear mascara because I wear glasses and the mascara eventually ends up on my glasses and undereyes. I know, not an awful problem to have.

  22. Hi Tina, I am curious if there is a way to have the links you include in the blog open in different windows. I love clicking on links you mention, but it can be frustrating to always go back to the blog and scroll to where I left off reading. With many blogs I will open links as I go and check them out after I finish reading a post. Just a suggestion 🙂

  23. I have incredibly long eyelashes. It’s actually kind of weird. Whenever I wear glasses or sunglasses, they brush against the lens which is SO annoying. I remember in dance recitals when I was younger, we all had to wear false eyelashes….that were exactly the same length as my natural ones. So funny!

  24. I’m currently loving the flavored varieties of Land O’Lakes hot chocolate. Picked up a big selection from Sam’s Club last week and am going to town!

I do have long eyelashes, but, unfortunately, they’re so light I have to put on really dark mascara to make them even remotely visible.
