What I’m Loving Lately XLIII

Good morning and happy, happy, HAPPY Friday to you!

We’re off to Oregon this morning. Our flight is super early, so by the time you read this post, we’ll likely be on a plane heading westward. Let’s hope all goes smoothly with our little peanut. He is one ACTIVE little boy. I mean, Mal and I get antsy on a 6-hour flight, so I can only imagine how restless Quinn will be. Hopefully, everyone on the plane doesn’t hate us once we land in Portland. Haha! Anyway, it’s Friday and you know what that means: What I’m Loving Lately! Here we go!

This super easy July 4th centerpiece – Adorable, right?

  1. We are taking the first family vacation with our son and I am excited to get there but a bit anxious about the travel. Luckily he isn’t walking yet but I still think our hands will be full. Safe travels to you all!

  2. Hi Tina! Oh man, I have to fly from California to Florida a lot, because my parents live there, and I get so antsy during the long flights. I always feel for the parents with little ones who are also having trouble. Good luck! And as far as favorite snacks — I’m all about granola on top of cottage cheese lately. Strange, but good. Safe travels to you!!

  3. Checking out the “differences between working out in your 20s vs 30s” article… clearly I am a 30-something at heart 🙂 (except the part about the type of workout. DEFINITELY still all about fun / fast / challenging / crazy exercise :D)

  4. I’m in my 60’s and highly motivated towards fitness, so it was interesting to read the difference between working out in your 20’s and your 30’s. Maybe I should write one about the difference between my 30’s and my 60’s. There’s not that much difference, really, because although I don’t need to get home quickly to my kids, I want to get to my grandkids, or to my other hobbies and adventures. 🙂

  5. Happy 4th 🙂 New snack: Buttermilk + Jam! Seriously, don’t knock it till you try it!!! 😀 Today we barbequed and waterskiid in the lake 🙂
In the past 10 years, I’ve started circuit training.. I’m so glad that was discovered!

  6. I bought a pack of Vermont English muffins solely because of this post. I had been buying Thomas but Wow!! What a huge difference. I got the whole wheat and they are so fluffy and flavorful. Will check out their other products. I love that ingredient list!

Working out 10 years ago was more of s punishment for me. I was in my last year of college and my perspective on healthy living was much different. Now I work out because I love my body and want to keep it strong.
