What I’m Loving Lately VI

Hi, friends! Happy Thursday!

Just wanted to share some of the things I am loving lately!

This photo

I stumbled upon this photo in an old blog post from 2009, and the cuteness just totally overwhelmed me. Look at how tiny Murphy is! Oh my gosh, his little paws and tail… I can barely stand it. And, of course, Mal is adorable too.

This quote from Liz Wolfe

“On the list of things that matter about our food, calories are dead last.”

I agree with this x 1,000,000. This quote is from her new book Eat the Yolks, and I cannot wait to read it. I just need to finish Chris Kresser’s Your Personal Paleo Code, which, by the way, I am absolutely loving. If you think Paleo is too restrictive, you definitely need to read this book. It’ll change your mind about a few things!

My baby shower invitations

My sister sent me one of my baby shower invitations the other day, and I love them so much! How adorable, right!?!

You pull down the little felt diaper to reveal all of the shower details. OMG. SO. CUTE. They’re from Envelove Invitations on Etsy.

Bates Motel

I don’t know how Mal and I stumbled upon Bates Motel, but we’re really digging it lately. We’re a little more than halfway through the first season, and it’s really good so far””mysterious, creepy, and a little bizarre at times. It’s definitely holding my interest!

Microfiber Dish Drying Mat

We used to have a big, bulky dish drying rack on our kitchen counter, but it took up so much space, so we decided to replace it with a microfiber dish drying mat, which was such a great idea.

It takes up so much less space and when we’re not using it, it folds up and is easily stored under the sink for additional counter space.

  1. Little Murphy! I love it! I want to switch to a drying mat as well. I hate the look of our drying rack on the counter. And maybe we wouldn’t hold off doing our dishes as much as we do now (no dishwasher!) And gosh, the invites = adorable.
